When are we getting a decent G1 Galvatron toy?

We got a lot of G1 masterpieces thanks to Universe and Classics, but Galvatron fell a little short. If we ever get him again he needs at least to be:

    a. A Voyager
    b. 95% accurate to his anime counterpart
    c. His cannon mode intact

I'd rather he looked more like his IDW Comics depiction. Far more fearsome looking while still true to Galvatron's original look, and because of the extra detail probably a lot more workable as a toy design - more places to hide panels and stuff.

I seem to be one of the few who got a problem free Deluxe Galvatron, and quite like the mold.

That said, a bigger one wouldn't go a miss. Electronics would be nice too... and since they're a rarity in Voyagers... I'm going to say at least Voyager if not Ultra.

I agree with you too. We are probably like the only three people who like Deluxe Galvatron. I think it looks good all the way around and I like complicated transformations so this really appealed to me. Only problem is that he has a hard time standing.

I could pass on electronics, however, unless they got Leonard Nimoy to record some new phrases for it.

Edit: changed number of people who like the current Galvatron to include Paxtin (Hey, we should start a group or something.)

*In a small voice from the back of the room* I disagree...

...But mosty just cause I was never really a fan of G1 Galv's space cannon alt-mode.

    You're not alone my brothers.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw another Universe Galvatron figure in the next couple of years. Though, I don't think it'll be 95% accurate to the original cartoon model of him. However, I do see them making one that's much better than the Deluxe at some point. Hasbro was even disappointed with the final product.

yes he looks great and his transformation isn't that complicated but he falls apart as soon as you look at him and i could pass on the electronics as longs he was much inspired by his G1 form

No parts on mine have ever come off unless I pulled on them with a lot of force. I guess I was just lucky with my selection though as it seems most others have your problem too.
