What happend to him? He no longer has any listings on ebay, as far as I know and you can't reach the guy by email. Somebody who know's what he's up to?
I did business with him once for a G1 thrust body, wings, and tailfins and he was a decent seller. I know the ebay feedback forum stated that he is a ripoff artist.
Strange, couldn't find him the first time I browsed for his name. Well, his e-mail stated on his website doesn't work. Well, dead thread.
That guy was a real pain. EVERY FRIGGIN time I bought something from him, something was missing... a part, a whole toy. The 'smallest' mistake was when for the advertised "Pounce and Wingspan" I instead got two Pounces. The biggest, when a whole Monsterbot just got "left out" of the package. Sure, he later sent the money back, but this happened like, 6-7 times? WTF? How did he get to be a power seller with such a sloppy handling/shipping quality? I would have stopped buying stuff from him after the 2. time, but a friend of mine still wanted to buy stuff from him, so I helped him... but after a while even he lost his patience and called it a day. What's strange is, I am 100% sure the guy couldn't have had a day job with this kind of huge TF selling... so he should have had the time to be punctual and take care of the packages.
I bought from him once with no problems, but that was admittedly some years ago. I think it was an Energon Sharkticon, so that should sort of date it for you.
While I'll freely admit he has the communication skills of a child, I got most of my G1 collection from him six or seven years back; all as described, outstanding condition, and no problems. From the horror stories I hear and read about though, it seems like something has changed.
I've heard that Wheeljackslab is actually a group of sellers working in tandem around the country. Surely one person alone couldn't have sent out 36000+ packages in 11 years? But what I don't understand is how they have so many unhappy customers & still their feedback is 98.8%?
scale, that's how. look at the number of overall transactions and it would take him HUNDREDS of negatives to drop him out of the 90% feedback ratio.
Not to mention ebay gave everyone 100% feedback last year sometime I believe. I was like 99 or 98% and they redid their system and now I have 100%
Indeed, I've ordered many many items from him over the years, the most recent was a couple of months ago and I've never had a problem with him. Granted I've only been purchasing empty G1 boxes from him recently, but they've all come as described if not better.
