The two variations of Ironfist's head are now available. I'm doing some final testing on the Ironfist kit and those should be available shortly. If you plan on getting the kit DO NOT just buy the head. buying the parts separately is more expensive due to shapeway's pricing and shipping costs.

How fragile are the hands in ultra detail/frosted ultra detail?

    how simple is installation?

The hands are solid. simply remove the two screws in the forearm and the fists are designed to fit exactly how ratchet's fit in there. The only issue i foresee is if you torque the weapon in his fist. the thumb would be the weakest point then.
the head is a simple screw removal and popping in the new head and reuse the screw from ratchet's head.
The mid section slides into the cavity that ratchet already has there.

I haven't had any issues with breaking or cracking. of course the detail stuff is fragile so just be gentle. I do recommend thoroughly cleaning the parts and giving them a light sand before painting them and assembling them.

once things are painted, I think the assembly would seriously only take about 10-15 minutes.

    Hope that helps.

I know Alts are a thing of the past, or, part of Transformer History if you would, but any plans to maybe make items for that line?

I know some folks are still after the shoulder launchers that were popular during the Alt reign....and the "driveshaft" part of the weapon that was supposed to come with the Honda S2000 mold. Hasbro nixed the idea for it, while Takara kept it for the BT line.

I know the want for these items might be scarce, I only know a handful of folks/collectors that would buy them if they were made, so I'd totally understand if it was not made due to cost effectiveness.

I know this is a insane request... but could you make a wheelie head, hands, and slingshot for FOC jazz? XD

E, get a hold of me with images if you could and we can talk about it. I don't own any alts any more but it would be cool to design something a little bigger.

I've got an idea for FOC jazz but unfortunately it isn't wheelie :)  I think alphamagnus made a head for WFC bumblebee which looks great. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/331880-wfc-wheelie.html
check to see if he's got extras. :)

More "in scale" wings for Highbrow and Powerdive. I love that mold, and some proper looking wings would really set it off.

Price to get these printed might be a deterrent E. If you're serious though send me a text, we can discuss further.

:)  how did you spot that? I barely got it uploaded. Anyway, yes, he's available now. It's a large head, big voyager or mp scale.

thanks for pointing that out Eric, they're on sale at ToysRus.com as well. and thanks for the kind words brotha.

They're still in the works. Patience my friend. I'm really trying to make these as good as I can.

I'm designing my stuff with detail and ultra detail in mind. I have never gotten over the the sandy appearance of the strong white flexible. Thanks for asking. :)

The crossover, Captain America Hummer thing looks nice, but it's a large head. I designed it for my personal project and i have a lot of kitbashing going on there. I would say it's more for intermediate bashers than beginners. For example, my ironfist kit was more for beginners with a specific figure in mind and all the parts just popped into place with little effort.

Thanks for the comments and questions guys. I'll try to check this more often. Also, I want to thank everyone who's picked up the ironfist kit. Shapeways doesn't tell us who buys stuff from our "shop" so I don't know who's buying them. Anyway, i just wanted to say thanks and I would love to see what you guys have done with them.

As for design updates, RnR is very close to being ready. It'll be a little pricey, cuz there are so many parts. I'll try to break some of them up so folks can pick up a minimal kit, a regular kit and a super kit.
The swerve kit will follow. It'll no longer be a 3rd party release since hasbro released one and igear announced one.
Inferno and grapple and now hotspot are in development and I'm trying to find an external vendor to replicate the parts. they're ridiculously expensive on shapeways. You'll know as soon as i know.

Also, in keeping with the wreckers theme. I have plans for a pyro that's not based on the inferno mold. stay tuned. I'll have more info when i finally get the donor bot. :)
