I wish we could of seen more of him in Season 1 as he played well his role. Where was he when the Autobots needed him the most against Unicron? And another thing that I dont understand when he said that he is going on his journey and who knows who he will find maybe old crews, he ment the Wreckers right? Then who are the rest of the Wreckers beside Jacky and Bulky?

He's probably my favorite of the Autobots so far, which considering he's only been in one episode so far, is a little sad, lol. I'm definitely looking forward to his return in season 2. Most especially because of his "larger role" and him turning more into a mechanic.

As for the other Wreckers, it hasn't been mentioned in the show, yet, but I believe Exiles has mentioned some of the others. Only one that comes to mind atm is Ultra Magnus (haven't read the book yet, but have read some stuff about it).

 

Personally, I think Wheeljack is over hyped.

 

He's going to return in Season 2, as mentioned in the NYCC TF: Prime Panel.

 

I hope he gets more character development than "I am a badass, thus I will do badass things." SOmething I'd like for the character is for him to still be the badass swordsman, but almost have a very bright mind he tries to hide for some reason.

 

I hope Ultra Magnus and Springer were at one point, to at least coincide with the novels. But I hope we hear of the Wreckers more.

Or rather, he IS a mechanic, but they didn't get a chance to let that shine in the episode.

 

Cybertronians have a ridiculous long life spawn, and most of them used to have a "normal" life before the war.

Wreckers come to earth for their most dangerous and important mission ever, to rescue Optimus Prime from the Decepticons, whether Prime wants to be rescued or not! :3

 

I'm really looking forward to seeing Wheeljack in Season 2 as well. There's a perfect way to balance being a mechanic and the current "badass" persona he's got going now. I kind of imagine him being like this:

Wheeljack comes back in Season 2 and decides (yet again) to build, together with Rachet, the Dinobots, all 5 of them, who are making their appearance in the 2nd season  

 

That wont happen. The Dinobots already exist in this Continuity, they are in Fall Of Cybertron and theyve been created by Shockwave.

 

Let's hope he plays a big part of keeping Team Prime together during this difficult time and possibly help with getting Optimus back!!!
