Hi there, i apologize for my not perfect english. A (hk seller) friend sent this to me. This would be Wheeljack ko/reissue. Are there differences with original usa hasbro box? Bye! C.
wow, so many KOs coming out now. These people just happen to come across old molds or reverse engineering going on here?
One difference between the KO box and an original is the less silver between the bubble and Wheeljack's right arm on the box art.
#1: Are these things still expensive (In the $70+ range) If they drop prices to a more acceptable level, I would be all over these. #2: I would also like to know how they are doing this. I also think its pretty funny that this is going on due to Hasbro and Takara ignoring requests for many fan favorite reissues. If Has/Tak started producing these, Im sure they would have sold like hot cakes, especially when the movie came out. Oh well, their loss.
UGH. I hope I'm not contributing to the manufacture of a perfect one. KO is missing a second colon dot next to word "AGES" in lower left. Like the rest of them, this KOs grey area, between plastic window and Wheeljack full figure art, is a dead giveaway. Doesn't resemble original. The artwork for Wheeljacks left shoulder cannon should extend all the way to the top. KO stops about 1/6th an inch from their.
If these weren't so expensive, I'd grab one. Wheeljack was my favorite G1 character, and a toy that I was never able to get. But, I refuse to pay the prices these guys want, for a KO. I've got two vintage 'Jacks, here. (plus a parts donor) all I need are the accessories.
these things are expensive, yes, but they are still much cheaper than the originals in box (at up to 2-2.5 times the price). its not the greatest deal, but for ppl who actively seek for these figures in good condition it looks like its worth every penny. you get a neat box too!
I picked up the KO Mirage and I am very happy with the quality, can't wait to get my hands on this one too
Box differences a not a promblem. I want box differences. At least a collector should be able to tell if it's a KO or a original.
Since there isn't a chinatown anywhere near me, where might one go to 'ahem' get a better look at one of these?
