fuck that, then. you can get a complete, good condition wheeljack, metroplex, and shitloads of other G1s for less than 100. no one is going to pay MORE for a bootleg than they would an original. Prime was cheap, why arent any of these?
tru dat. real MIB collectors will want the real thing. its us openers who dont mind KOs. and us openers can get loose ones cheaper a hunnered bucks. btw, i already have wheeljack, sunstreaker and mirage.
I already have these all, but I can't see selling these guys for that much. especially Dev giftset. I got an original MIB unapplied for that price.
After reading through this I think this just may be the Devastator KO- http://cgi.ebay.com/Transformers-G1-Constructicon-Devastator-1985-Sealed_W0QQitemZ110115525914QQihZ001QQcategoryZ4696QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
i think this sucks to be honest. it's like some guy selling bootleg cds before everyone got cd burners. he knows his market is shrinking fast so he's trying to get as much as possible as quick as possible. when his quality should be getting better through experience it'll only get worse from taking on too much too fast. you won't find me picking up any of these knock offs. even shockwave which is a toy i'd looooooove to have. aka, screw this dude.
TFC Jazz would like a word with you about that statement... I have to agree with that. While the Swoop is easy enough to fix up (and indeed such things are expected with KOs) it's ridiculous to pay near-original prices for one.
I as a MIB collector want the real thing , but if the insert is the same , or dosent see any diffrence then I dont mind getting a KO and a MIB Wheeljack , Soop etc etc on ebay that dosent have the original insert and just use the KO insert.
I would still probably be interested in Shockwave and Lynx without electronics, but not if you're at crazy prices.
I'd like to get the Wheeljack for the parts (need them for my original and Ebay prices are just bloody stupid - $15 for a WING? Pfft, screw that.)
i'll get these as asthetic additions to my collection to keep MISB to go with my originals that are boxless. i have plans on getting that G1 soundwave box remake as well. yay KO's
Not really. why pay $100+ for parts, KO parts, when you can get a loose, complete vintage wheeljack for less? Buying parts individually usually costs more. Buy a complete vintage loose wheeljack, take the parts you need, sell the rest.
Hmm, if the quality is equal to the cassettes and the price is right... I might go for it. Always wanted an Wheeljack. Oh and more power to the KO makers for making stuff hasbr/takara isn't (anymore)!
