I finished the Wheeljack upgrade kit just in time for the Classics/Generations Wheeljack pics to emerge! Yeah! The kit was far from perfect when I received it. It takes some work to get everything to fit. Many pieces needed putty and sanding to look smooth. The new front grill part broke immediately and had to be fixed. Also, I'm not sure the head fits exactly when in car mode. I used Pactra metallic white paint.

You know I heard a lot of negative things with this kit and so it prevented me from getting one myself plus now that Hasbro is making one from the factory, I'll just go that route.

In spite of that, you did an excellent job with it and it looks great! You shoud be proud!

I have the kit too and I like the look of him. I agree with your assesment of it, it needed a lot of work to make it right. All in all you did a great job with it. As for the head, the gimmick still works but you have to rotate the head 180 degrees first.

Good job! I saw this in person at the Houston toy show and it's pretty sweet.
