I'm curious about this... We know that Japan will be getting Wheeljack in the TF United toyline that uses the same molds as the U.S. Generations/Reveal the Shield, but has Hasbro stated if we here in the U.S. will see him in the GEN/RTS line?

It would seem foolish of them not to be bringing him out here, but I haven't heard anything about it at all. We have everything else to be released in United coming in GEN/RTS...

Juwt would like to know before I jump on a pre-order for the United one.

Official confirmation, no. But the line has plenty of remolds and retools left and Wheeljack's one of the more demanded characters to get a Classics/Generations updates. It's obvious we'll get him in Reveal the Shield.

Just like we got Red Alert in Universe 2.0?

I wonder if they may hold on to him until whateveritiscalled 4.0. Movie toys are just around the corner and they are probably getting ramped for them.

I expect him to be announced in the next wave of figures.

There is no possible way Hasbro won't release Wheeljack in the US. Worry not.

Hasbro hasn't announced him or the Frenzy/Rumble twopack, and we haven't actually seen any pictures of Reflector (the Perceptor repaint/remold). That said, I would guess they're still candidates to be released in 2011 with the other already confirmed Hasbro releases.

I haven't looked at them since I got him and can't remember the news item, but didn't Terradive's instructions show him with a different head that hinted at his potential repaint/remold as well? If so, that potential release hasn't been announced either by Hasbro (or Takara) for RtS yet. A Tomahawk repaint could show up in 2011 as well, unless they hold off on one or both for the Dark of the Moon line.

There's really only a couple waves left that have been confirmed. At the rate they've been cranking the waves out I wouldn't be surprised if everything hasn't hit near saturation by early March. That leaves two months before TF3 toys are released. I'd say Wheeljack, Reflector, Rumble, Frenzy and the remolds of Thunderwing and Terradive are released at that point.

Well the picture we've seen of Wheeljack is the Hasbro version, not the United one. So he's coming, and in the pictures he has an Autobot symbol, so maybe he'll be in Generations?

Am I the only one that remembers Hasbro talking about the Generations line like it was meant to go long-term, as in, through the 3rd movie.

^ I recall reading that somewhere as well. Hasbro wanted the Generations line to continue and run along side the movie line and possibly beyond.

Pretty sure the pix of Wheeljack we've seen have been of the RTS release. No chrome, no pearl paint, and i believe it has a rubsign (United does not have 'em, IIRC).

    So . . . yeah, we've seen Hasbro's version, we're getting it.

It's pretty obvious that once they go to the trouble of designing a mold, particularly a mold with two characters in mind, Hasbro IS releasing it.

I just hope they aren't as hard to find as Universe Ratchet and Hotshot were.
I mean i ended up finding Hotshot sometime after ROTF.

It's probably being released in Generations instead of RTS which is why he doesn't get a rubsign.

I feel like i'm missing something here. The only pics i remember seeing were the grey one, and the picture from Amazon JP and Generations 2010 (same pic) where the logo was stamped on the chest.

    Someone fill me in?
