I think Wheeljack had the saddest death.
He seemed so innocent, he seemed like he didn't even want to fight back
like he wanted to "talk it out" first.
The way he was killed was pretty sad to.
I think it was the saddest death in the whole trilogy, sadder than Ironhides.

Yeah his death both shocked and saddned me too.:(  Even more so than Ironhide's death! (Avoids Stink bombs thrown by Ironhide fans.) He was actually looked to be a very plesent person to be friends with so I do understand Bumblebee's grief when Que/Wheeljack died.

Ironhide takes the cake for that.

To be honest, they are both very tragic for me.

Ironhide because it was completely unexpected if you didn't see the spoilers.

Wheeljack's was sad because we watched as it slowly happened as the 'Cons seperated pulled him aside to kill him off, and no one could really intervene.

My only problem was that that was all Wheeljack did in the entire film, aside from also making a few bombs.

He didn't really get any decent shots in car mode, he never fought despite packing some impressive weaponry, and his harmless old man look, really drives forward the point that his entire purpose in the film was to die, and make the cons look mean.

I'm actually glad they didn't, because not only is that also their only real scene in the novel, but both of them basically die to save Bumblebee.

Which both reinforces the fact that he's unkillable, and seemed to come off as a final desperate attempt to make them be liked.

Ironhide was more sad because I actually cared about the character.

I think they should have at least had him fight back. I mean, c'mon, no Autobot would beg for mercy from a con. Look at Bee, you didn't see him say anything to Soundwave, did you? :)

Wheeljack had a giant gun on his back. And a spear. And Bee and Ratchet and Mirage and Sideswipe were there.

No reason they shouldn't have just started attacking. If Bee could take out one drone and Soundwave by himself they should have wiped the floor, seeing as it was only Wave, Barricade, and 6 or so drones.

Oh, don't mind the fact that there were a hundred Decepticons around with guns pointed at their heads.

Not necessarily. Him being the one to die during that scene was a last-minute decision because Ferrari objected to Mirage biting it. And I have a feeling that his death in the novelization was something Peter David threw in of his own volition.

His death is just part of a fast moving scene from the movie,no significant
