Why would we need an explanation for them to look G1ish? Hahaha You seem to be the only one not happy about it. The solution to the "Bayformers issue" is an actual GOOD story to tell. The first couple trailers already had more emotions than all the Bay movies put together so that's saying something.

Trailers look awesome! Excited to go see this for sure.

 

Appreciate what he's saying, but also wish they'd fine tune the marketing hype speak some.
But otherwise, really looking forward to seeing how the movie does.

 

Okay no argument on any of the other stuff but what exactly makes the Dreads a contender for the worst idea Bay has ever had?

 

The movieverse is supposed to look realistic and not looking like an over the top GEEWUNN homage, but I guess that is what the hardcore G1 fans wanted all this time. Good for them.

 

Didn't happen to his last film, soooooo that's a better track record than Michael Bay has.

Holy shit, we\'re getting Wheeljack too!? Oh man, I love it already. I refuse to consider Wheeljack and Que the same character, the movies never did and Que was a pathetic and ugly SoB. I get they were trying to go for Einstein but what they got was demonic robo-clown. Truly horrendous in evry way. I can\'t wait to see Wheeljack on the bigscreen for the FIRST time even just for a brief time in the prologue/flashbacks. I just hope he appears long enough for Hasbro to justify giving him an SS figure along with that Soundwave, Shockwave, Prime and the rest. I\'m sure other people have said this but imagine how cool it would be if the film started out similar to the G1 cartoon with Wheeljack and Bumblebee riding across Cybertron on an important mission?

Look, we've had 10 years of Bayverse.
It became tired and repetative.
Car chases, explosions, teen angst, explosions, boobs and butt, explosions, little cohesiveness, explosions, retconning, and have I mentioned explosions?  
That same recipe lost its flavor after awhile.

Knightvision is a fresh but familiar take on the franchise. There's a happy medium between the familiar G1 elements and earthbound elements.
There's cohesiveness and a soiid storyline.

It was time to hit the reset button on the movieverse.

 

I've watched this like 10 times. Wow I'm so seeing this movie. Never been so excited for a Transformers Movie! Well done Travis! Thank you for the rescue, it's been a tough year.

 

Wow Travis does know his transformers I’ll give him that (unlike a certain other director)

Kitchen Sink is my (Chiller, failed decepticon) nemesis. One of my plans to defeat him included a decades long scheme of popularising a phrase amongst the fleshings: "Remember to take everything except Kitchen Sink".
Sadly that didn't go to plan. Which turned the whole plan into a wash out.
Ever wondered why a dishwasher looks a lot like a fridge? That was part of one of my other plans.

Anyway, must dash and go plug back in. My ice is starting to melt.
