Honorable mentions: Cybertron Prime, Powermaster Prime (TWO Primes in one!), Armada Prime (also 2 Primes in 1). And the new movie Prime may just make its way into my top 5 once it's released. I like what I see so far.

 

While not my favorite I gotta give love to Go-bots Prime.

I can't pick a favorite it'd be too hard.

 

Out of all the Primes that I own, Cybie Optimus is my favorite.Granted when I first saw some test shots of the toy,I was hatin' on him big time because he wasn't a semi,had a partial face mask(sooo not G1-like!),and looked like he was trying out for a football team with those friggin' huge shoulder pads. After watching a few episodes and constantly walking through the toy aisle,picking up the box to give him the once over,he finally stole my heart and my money!  Although some people did'nt like the "futuristic" looking fire-truck mode on Optimus,I thought it worked for him.The "regular" robot mode itself looks powerful enough by itself,but when you put on his backpack,he was a walking WOMD.Great articulation,although I wished Hasbro would have put a ball joint on his torso,ala Classics or MP Prime to give him poseability,a nod to G1 OP with the colors,and a high playability factor makes Cybs Prime my fave,followed by MP/Ann.,then Classics.Until I see the Movie Prime up close and personal,I think I'll reserve judgement on him until then.

 

In terms of aesthetic design I like Cybertron Prime the best. I really love the design of Armada Prime as well.

I'd love to have a G1 Prime. but it seems it was not meant to be.  

Classics voyager Prime is my current favorite. Great bot, heavily inspired by the original, and his alt mode looks like a truck (Peterbilt 372, anyone?) instead of the "Opti-carts" we've been getting from the other G1 style Primes.

Bendy Prime is a close second. Love the bot proportions, and and the articulation makes it fun to play with. I also like my RM G1 Prime, but I've modified the hell out of its vehicle mode, so it probably doesn't count, for this thread.

I don't share the love for MP/20th Prime. I expect a TF from early G1 to have a vehicle mode that looks like a vehicle. That Prime's alt mode falls apart if you give more than a passing glance.

 

I go with Masterpiece Prime, G1 look with super detail. You can't beat that.

 

OMEGA PRIME(ultra mag & RID prime),G1 PRIME & BEAST WARS PRIME(believe it or not!). I dont own a MASTERPEICE or BIG CONVOY(mammoth)yet- but if i did they would be up there! not alot of love in here for BW prime,but i thought he was badass with a mace,arm cannons & two blades wich he used in the series. That new DIE CAST BT-17 Black Convoy,CYBERTRON & CLASSIC are nice too! Jurys still out on MOVIE prime,its quite bulky(i'll still get one though)

Tough. I like pretty much all of them...though...MP/20 Ann. Prime is like the toy we waited 20 years for...I vote for him.

 

i truely can not say masterpiece optimus prime, i mean, with out an army to command, masterpiece is just a loner, no prime, no commander, just that, optimus...

and there is so far only 3 different masterpieces *not counting ultra magnus* molds, and 2 of them are decepticons, so prime once again, has no army to command, while megatron can make starscream his little bitch  .

 

Mine is a toss up between classics and Superlink Grand Convoy ( I prefer it over Energon's color changes)

Superlink Grand Convoy is an homage to G1, although he is modified to be a "futuristic semi cab", of course, Superlink and Eneregon were intentionally filled with G1 homages. Grand Convoy can also power up in so many different ways. He has his Super mode limbs, which can be put in different orders, then there is his combination with Wing Saber and Omega Supreme. The only thing is I wish they had made his trailer look more like a semi truck trailer instead of a vehicle carrying trailer. Other than that, I think he is a really awesome toy.

MP-04 just cause it's rad, but I just love Powermaster Prime most cause it's the prime I got for Christmas as a kid,

Favorites Mp-01, Ths-02 most like G1 and great posiblity

Best in all modes Rid/Car Robots prime.

 

he retails here for about $90. is it really worth it? is he that awesome?

 

I'd have to go with Masterpiece/20th Anniversary Prime, to be quickly followed by the original G1 Prime as a close 2nd.
