Mine is Ironhide (classics).
20th Anniversary Prime w/ battle damage and long stacks with the MP-04 trailer. If I could only keep one this would be it without a doubt. I like the look of the battle damage much more than the MP takara version. I know I am probably in the minority on this though. I also have MP Roller preordered but it has yet to be released. It will be complete once I get that.
Yep, mine too. And no, you're not alone on the "battle damage"... I have a clean MP Prime, and the battle damaged one, and I definately prefer the damaged one. More "realism" IMHO. And youz gots to have the trailer too, no doubt about it... I was so happy to get the one with the trailer.
I'm thinking my wife is (finally) getting me an MP Megatron for Christmas, so I'm certain he'll be 2nd favorite!
It's currently a tie between RID Optimus Prime and Megatron.
Childhood favorite- G1 Prowl
Adult Favorite- MP Prime with Battle Damage and the KO trailer with roller.
You have a Roller for your MP Prime? That's awesome!
I can't decide between my G1 Sixshot or my Alternators Battle Ravage. Both are awesome figures in their own right. Honorable Mention goes to my beat up Energon Prime, also my most recent aquisition. His normal bot mode is absolute dorky, with numerous problems in addition to how fat he is, but I just love his combinability with his drones for his Grand Cross mode, which has the drones offset the size of his chest.
G1 Bruticus.... Its just to bad he is so darn stupied. I really am surprised since Bruticus minds are made upp from the 5 combatacons and none of them are really dumb and Onslaught is actually bright.
Beast Machines Primal Prime. Cause he´s the Living Matrix
I seem to always be fiddling with Big Convoy.
Cybertron Defense Scattorshot
The toy has some obvious flaws (why couldn't they hide the head better?), but it's my favorite by far.
cybertron crosswise pain in the ass to transform but awesome modes and key gimmick
1986 Deception Predaking.
That defined my 11th birthday for me that year. It was fun receiving 4 out of 5 Predacons during my birthday party and receiving the final missing piece of Razorclaw during Christmas.
I distinctly remember not having the body, but constantly forming the limbs and imagining what the total Gestalt would look like. Lots of good memories!!
At the moment both RID Fire convoy & God Magnus. awesome combiners man!
While my childhood favorite has always been Powermaster OP.
Childhood fave: G1 Devastator (yep, I had all of them), Jazz and Inferno. I didn't have all the big names, but those were my prized ones of the Transformers I had. Sadly, we chucked Devastator because parts broke and it couldn't be put together anymore...and naturally, we didn't anticipate the emergence of sites like eBay or the internet in general 10-15 years later. Damn. I started to pick up the G2 Constructicons when those came out but never completed the set.
Adult fave: Hasbro Commemorative Soundwave (with Ravage and Lasorbeak), TC Megatron and 25 Anniversary Optimus Prime. Twenty years later I finally landed the ones I always wanted. I'm still giddy.
My fav. MP 05 Megatron. I love how difficult he is to transform and how awesome he looks with that huge cannon on his arm.
Childhood fav. Dinobot Slag. A robot triceratops, what wasn't to love?
Honorable mentions: G1 Predaking (greatest non kitbashed TF Gestalt IMO) and Classics Soundwave (soundblaster mold repaint) with Ravage and Laserbeak.
It's a draw between:
Transformers perfection in terms of the design and that beautiful blue/yellow contrast - it knocked me for 6 when I first held him - so heavy, so much larger than the G1 TFs I'd been used to... So much potential for the Binaltech line. It got me back into giving a shit about toys which for a then-28-year-old who thought toys were for kids is no mean feat!
MP-05 Masterpiece Megatron
As good a representation of the Decepticon leader as we're ever likely to see with this alt-mode.
it's a three way tie - Transformers Animated Grimlock, Sentinel Prime and Voyager Optimus Prime
Separate names with a comma.
