I'm going to Cedar Point next week and I'm hyped. God, I can't wait. I need to get on all seventeen coasters in two days. So far my favorite roller is the Millenium Force? What's your favorite?

Haven't been on very many 'big ones' but my favorite is California Screaming in Disney’s California adventure.

Not sure how it stacks up to the other greats, but I like it.

The biggest reason why is the Instant 0-60 start at the bottom of the ride. Going over the first big hill feels crazy.

Too many to name, but here's a site where I've wasted a lot of time; the Roller Coaster Database:

For now it's X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Tatsu is another favorite of mine.

Kings Island has some good ones. I haven't been on a roller coaster in years...

The Great Canadian Minebuster. Steel coasters will never be as good as wood.

Pretty much this. I love Roller Coasters but sadly haven't been on too many different ones. The Superman Ride at Six Flags NE is pretty good too.

Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. Tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world. There's one like it at Cedar Point called Top Thrill Dragster. Another good one is Shiekra at Busch Gardens, and Montu is pretty good. But nothing beats the speed launch and barrel roll of the Hulk at Universal.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a coaster junkie. Good think I live in Orlando. :lol

    This one:

That picture is taken last September, at the Terra Mítica amusement park in Spain. Me and my friends were so looking forward to get on that ride, but by the time we got there, it had stopped. And those poor people in the picture were stuck there for a good hour and a half. :p
We did a couple of other coasters instead, and when we got back to the Inferno, it was open for business again, but with the malfunction, nobody wanted to even get near it.
    EXCEPT ME OF COURSE :p
I somehow managed to drag my three friends with me on it and once we did, we went again and again (no lines = FTW! :lol ) IT WAS AWESOME!

This one was awesome too, and I think we went on that one like three times:

Hades at Mount Olympus in Wisconsin Dells. Going down the big hill directly into a tunnel under the parking lot is awesome.

For a small coaster, Excalibur @ Valley Fair in Minnesota was fun too.

Millenium Force at Cedar Point is my favorite at the park, but I haven't had the chance to ride Maverick, yet. Top Thrill Dragster is fun. Gemini, Mantis, Magnum, and Raptor are all very good, too. All of them have their charms and history, though. I was one of the first customers on the Mean Streak when it opened. I could've been on the first train out, but waited so I could be in the front of the second train out.

In Orlando, my faves include Hulk, Rock N' Roller Coaster, and Kraken. I still need to get to Busch Gardens sometime, though- but with small kids, we prefer the Sea World season passes for cheapness and family fun-ness.

The Beast is still the best wooden coaster in the world, though. Particularly at night.

that one is still up and running? gawd. i thought it was older than the hills.

i get weak knees watching the roller coaster specials on The Travel Channel. Best friend tried for years to get me on the Hulk or Dueling Dragons ride.
i know the physics, the technology and everything, but fear is, as Paul put it, "fear is the mind killer...."
and staring at the batman ride at SF-ATL, i was DOA as my mom and sister got on it.
