What's Your favorite 80s Non Transformable robot design

    There were so many great mech designs in the 80s, with a realistic look to them you don't see today. I have been seeing more toys coming out for them though, with better articulation and detail. What are your favorites, toys or from anime? If you're not sure what some of these are look them up, they are all cool stuff!

    Some I can think of are Votoms, Patlabor, Dougram, Dunbine, Gundam, Macross (Destroids), Five Star Stories and Zeorymer. Probably my fav is Dunbine, but Votoms and Patlabor are also great. So... discuss!

    Hard to pick just one, but I've always been fond of the Dragonar-1, particularly Masami Obari's version as seen in Soul of Chogokin SPEC form here:

    I've actually never seen a Patlabor episode or movie, but I have multiple versions of its mecha. Hell if I know their names. The police mech that looks like a Valkyrie's love child with G1 Prowl, and the black robot with the wings. Those are some awesome mecha designs. Spent way more money than I should have, on mecha from a show I never saw.

    some of the early sentai mechs from the 70s/80s didnt transform, but they were hella cool. battle fever J anyone?

    not fully siure he counts as he doesn't actually transform as much as he is a combiner but im going to say Voltron Lion force
