First wave of Reveal the Shield features four Autobots...the currently appearing wave of Generations features four more. Sure, the 'Cons have a small advantage in numbers so far but they're about to be seriously overrun. Poor Scourge and Cyclonus are about to have the shit kicked out of them.
    Thoughts?

Perhaps Autobots are more commonly popular and sell better than the Cons?
I think in my collection my Decepticons are way out numbered.

There has always been more Autobots than Decepticons, in every single line.

Mine is pretty close, I think there are only 5 more autobots than decepticons in my collection give or take, but would love more decepticons.

I almost only buy Decepticons anyway so it never bothered me, but lately there are so fewer of them in waves that I sometimes don't have anything to buy.

I'm sure you're right...just seems like a preponderance of Autobots right now, whether open or covert. That having been said...an Autobot Civil War might be cool.
Or I could troop-build Scourge. It's just hard to see a credible threat when Scourge and Cyclonus are facing off against Rodimus, Prime, Bumblebee, Tracks, Mindset, Fallback, Perceptor, Wreck-Gar, and Kup.

Troop build scourge you know you want to (Im also really hoping reprolabels comes out with a set to diffrentiate them more)

Hers my setup or how it will be

    Autobot s3
protector, blaster, perceptor, kup, blurr, warbot defender, City commander, wreckgar, arcee, wheelie, eject, rewind
    = 12

    Decepticon s3
Galvatron, cyclonus, ghost SS, un scourge, 3x gen scourge, octane, wfc soundwave, kingbat
    = 10
I would also really like to add henkei astrotrain to this line up when i can find an affordable one

As for s1/2 well thats ridiculously unbalanced but like huffer always said "we arent fighters like they are prime" also i got 3 of the ko toys air warrior XD

Im also hoping to get PE reflector, tfclubs devs, FP's insecticons and the PE lasebeak/buzzsaw that should balance it out a bit lol actually i believe it will also give me a representation of evrey s1/2 con because i use energon shockblast as my shockwave

If you're looking for Henkei Astrotrain, I bought one from RK off their eBay account for $20, $35 total shipped, and I think it's right around there off their main site too.

Isn't it that "good guys" sell better to kids, or something to that effect? Sort of like how any given Batman line will have a fairly high Batman:[any villain] ratio.

Could be. Everyone wants to be the hero, no one wants to be the villain when you're young

80% of my childhood G1 collection was decepticons. Their alt modes were always cooler to me.

    Um, Toy Collecting 101.

    - Kids buy "good guys," so toy companies make more of them. That's why every wave from every Batman toyline ever has 3 Batmen, 1 Villain, and maybe a sidekick or various Bat-Family character (or in some cases, Superman).

    - It's tough selling a little boy a figure of a female character, most companies don't really bother trying to make them. That's why there's no Arcee, and why you only ever get one Batgirl for every Batman toyline. Only the X-Men line was ever somewhat plentiful on teh womens, but most of that was after they started becoming more collector-friendly towards the end of the 5in. scale days and into Marvel Legends.

I'm having the same problem my decepticons are well out numbered on the classics shelve.

there is a couple i still need to get right enough like scourge and lugnut but even once i get a hold of them its still one sided!
