A few months backs someone posted about KFC having a "mosquito buzz" hidden in one of their ads so that only some people could hear it (I believe it was only younger people could hear it.) and if they could hear it could enter when it happened during the commercial on their website to win a coupon or enter a contest or something. Then yesterday I was reading in the living room with the TV on, and a KFC commercial was on, and I swear I heard a voice talking in the commercial during the middle part of it, and I kinda did a WTF? at first, and then upon remembering the mosquito buzz, I figured someone might have noticed what was in the commercial.

    Any ideas, folks?

This link has a little more info on it

They're using subliminal messages to draw out River Tam before she leaks their secrets.

KFC is shit. I've never heard of this buzzing sound before, so I dont know if it's true or not.

    Popeyes rules all.

I dont know if it was with KFC, but I did hear about a research being done on how teens and people on their 20s could pick up higher pitched sounds than older people and that this could be used for advertising agencies to send out subliminal messages. I didnt think they would actually start applying if its true.

I can hear electricity. When there's something using a lot of juice in a room, I can hear a high-pitched buzz.

TVs and monitors do it, as do kitchen appliances like ovens.

A Popeye's just opened in my town this year. It's right next to a Wimpy's.

It was cute for the first month, now I never see anybody in there.

I can't hear an oven, but I've always been able to hear a CRT. It's part of why I'll never go back from an LCD monitor. What's really annoying is when it's something in my own ears doing that. Shut up, you freakin' cochlear hairs.

Yes, but Alabama doesn't charge people money to use its name like Kentucky does.

I forever hate KFC...steal "Sweet Home Alabama" and use it in a CHICKEN commercial. Plus, the wife loves KFC, and I actually care about my heart...

Popeye's is far superior to KFC. And if you get tired of their chicken, they have those wonderful catfish fingers...

Now if you'll excuse me, Salacious Crumb and I have to slither into the next room.

Popeye's is way, way overrated. Their breading is so salty I can't even eat it. It tastes like they battered it in a bucket of Morton's salt instead of flour.

Not that KFC is any good, it's possibly the worst fried chicken you can buy. A lot of grocery stores have good fried chicken though. It's regional, but Gabe's chicken from Buehler's Buy Low is good. Also, somewhat suprisingly, Wal-Mart's fried chicken is good too, but they don't have much selection for side items so when we decide to pick up some chicken we usually do Buy Low for the sides.

Ehh, it's a figure of speech. I know it's grammatically inaccurate, but it still conveys information successfully, which is all language is supposed to do.

And for those of you with access, Kroger's fried chicken is suprisingly delicious. As is their rotisserie.
