What's the weirdest place you've ever found a TF toy?

Back in the 80s, my friend opened a trash can lid and found Blaster with his gun. Only thing wrong with him was a burnt spot on his leg. Amazing. I wish I had've done that! LOL

I saw a box of G1s in a bedroom at an open house a few years ago. I asked the owner if he was interested in selling them and he said "go ahead and take them; they belonged to the last tenant."

Didn't buy the house, but snagged the G1s :)

Ya know, these threads would mean more if we actually knew where people lived. I mean, every time i see a post about "in my area" or "where I'm from" or "where did you" etc. etc. it would be nice to see people actually put at least a general location in their info instead of the snarky remarks that fail humor.

Seriously, is everyone here in the witness protection program or something?

Actually, I really did find an Armada Hot Shot in '08.
It was at a Wal-mart but I forget which one, I was on a trip.
And I'm serious about him being too yellow.

Well , I generally say stuff like "in my area" instead of "In Kelowna" because nobody here is really gonna know or care about what city I live in anyway, and because sometimes I'm speaking in terms of the area around that specific city, rather than just in it.

I believe you. I have no reason not to believe that people are finding these at strange places, or the distribution it horrible where they live or their country's prices are crazy high and stuff. I'm just saying, it has so little impact when we have no clue where this is coming from.

Example *just for fun* lets say I'm
    Boardname: Lurr
    Location: Omicron Persei 8

    (my post would complain)

Wow, we have such bad distribution in my area. The prices are stupid high also.

Ok, so where am I from? China? Oklahoma? Mexico City? I mean, if you want people to understand your pain, let them know where you are so they can relate. Or if you want them to share in your joy, let them know where you are so they can relate.

Yeah, but you DO have a location listed. Your in western Canada. So, when you post something, I can see how it relates to others around you. Nothing wrong with your location listing. At least it doesn't say "nowhere" or "Earth". lol

The Source by me had quite a few Deluxe Bumblebees and Stockades from the first Transformers film back in 2007. Oddest thing, never seen toys in there since then.

Maybe the place isn't weird (Rite Aid), but I thought it was weird that they only had a single TF toy as of a couple of days ago and it was TF animated Snarl! Apparently the toy was produced 5 years ago. Now THAT is what I would consider shelf warming.

Bought a Transmetal Ramulus on a ferry going from Dover, England to France back in 2000. That was just random, but cool considering I had always wanted that toy.
