A couple years ago, I found Animated Blurr at an Aldi store. It was the strangest thing. :inquisiti

The Source by Circuit City/Radioshack. It's where I finally found Concept Camaro Bumblebee. They literally had no toys except that single peg of a few movie toys and it was one of them.

These days, I'm pretty sure people finding things at Homsense takes the cake for me.

However when it comes to the G1/G2 stuff, I remember being able to find em in places like Crappy Tire & Peevey Mart, especially the smaller ones like constructicons & minibots.

The Giant Food store here had an entire stand-alone display of DotM deluxes. Never saw a TF there before, then all of a sudden, they have 50 of them.

Growing up, the little mom-and-pop newspaper stand had minibots on the pegs next to the plastic army men and Matchbox cars.

Normal, actually. They release them during different seasons. Christmas and Easter, to be exact. Perfect stocking stuffers, they believe. However, they tend to get the newest waves when they do receive a shipment, so they shouldn't be forgotten when the search is on.

I picked up an Animated Bumblebee from there around the same time. I was pleasantly surprised to see him there.

May not sound like the strangest place, but it was to me - the pokey little Tesco Express in my building in Liverpool had ROTF Legends Springer and Jetfire. The only toys in the whole place.

I was gonna open with that, but decided against on the account of actually having something to add.

I was at a dollar store that didn't have toys. Some pc shareware but no toys EVER. I found a beast wars Fuzor, The Tiger/Baboon one. I asked them if they were going to be carrying transformers. They didn't have any idea where it came from. GOT IT FREE!!! Win.

    Haha, funny stuff happens.

Like this one time, some dude found a Maxim mag mixed in with the car manuals that I was selling at Crappy Tire (something we definitely didn't carry), and since the UPC didn't show up, I just assumed that somebody left it there & gave it to him.
