..........that you never got for Christmas? I never got a trampoline or an E.T. doll. Hey it was the early 80s...LOL
Back when I was a Power Ranger fan as a kid, I had Titanus (the big white and black brachiosaurus) on my list two years, on the first release and the rerelease during the third year. Never did get it.
I actually got the Flagg for Christmas back in the day and what an awsome Christmas that was. Only two that were close that was the year Transformers came out and the Commodore 64. I think the only thing I wanted and never got was a Knight Rider Big Wheel. I already had a regular Big Wheel so the folks wouldn't get me another one. I did get the big talking KITT so that made up for it.
Yeah, I also really wanted the FLAGG but it was a no go. It was the most expensive toy at TG&Y (Walmart of Old) that Christmas. I think that one still bothers me the most to this day. I still don't have one.
A puppy. To this day i still don't have my own dog. I've had to adopt my girlfriend's. As far as toys... never got a Fortress Maximus or Scorponok. Never got a lot of the toys I asked for, but those two stick out.
NES System. Mom tried to pass off a cheap hand held game as a "system" one Christmas. I was a bit mad.
Mouse Trap and a SNES. I ended up getting the SNES at a Pawn Shop a couple years back and Mouse Trap at the Pulga, too.
Devastator Gift Set. Instead my parents just gave me one of them and said over time I'd get the rest. Yeah, that didnt happen either until I bought it a few years ago.
You'll shoot your eye out, kid. I wanted more Transformers, but my parents were finishing degrees at that time. Memories of "OH MAN, I wanted that so bad but I NEVER GOT IT!" really don't come to mind in a major way; it's more like, "That would have been neat." Oh yeah...I did want one of those Adidas 3-stripe jackets, back in middle school. I ended up getting one two sizes too big in like February after Christmas and wore it until the trend went out of style. My Dad still wears it now.
