Hmm...I'd guess it would be the Henkei-version. Hasn't got that much white on it like the old classics version or black stripes like the RTS one, it's mostly yellow.

Depends on price point. If you want the deluxe one then I'd have to say the Henkei one as well, but if you don't want to pay exhorbatant prices for one, the US Classics one would be fine too. The RTS one is painted too similar to moviebee in my opinion. Although... the legends one is probably the most similar. Transform is almost identical to the original and it's about the same size and sculpt is very similar to the original toy.

im meant deluxe yeah, shoulda put that in the title really. Im not too worried about cost just want a g1 bee not a movie stripped bee or white striped bee, didnt know if the was an all yellow bee around

Well, then go for the Henkei-version of the mold. I did buy my Henkei Bumblebee for the exact same reason: having the most g1-accurate version of the deluxe sized Classics figure.

The only way you are going to have an accurate bee is to paint it yourself. In which case get the cheapest versoin of the mold you can find.

Henkei is probably the most G1-&-cartoon accurate. I prefer the Classics version myself, as the white stripes add some subtle visual interest, and are a nice middle ground between the 'big boring yellow slab' of Henkei, and the full-on movie stripe embrace of RTS or the 3-pack BB's.

Henkei 'Bee, since he's solid yellow like the original toy.

Though it also makes him the most bland, IMO....

Yea, I would either go with the Henkei or the original Classics. I personally like the original Classics because the white stripes are a good choice, but the yellow may be a little too light for your taste in Bumblebee. However, the Henkei is the only version of the mold that I do not own. I just do not really like the use of chrome on it (and I generally love chrome). Just doesn't look right for me on the shins.

I do like the United version, but the full on Metallic paint may not be what you are looking for in a bumblebee. He will either be Goldbug or go in my Classics G2 display eventually.

    Ebay:
    1) Legends Bee

    2) Classics Bee w/ white stripes removed.

    3) Henkei Bee (only small part is chromed).

I like the RTS Bee - has a more modern look to the classic style. The black doesn't bother me much, the overall figure is much more Bumblebee to me than the movie design.

are the stripes easy to remove? cause that might work better than the henkei

    Indeed.

I find the white/black stripes help add a little something to an otherwise overwhelming sea of yellow.

I've not removed the stripes myself but others have. What some people discovered though is that when the figure is as big as a deluxe the pure yellow is no longer quite as attractive.

Henkei Bee is the most factory-accurate deluxe however THE most accurate updated Bee would have to be iGear's modified legends version.

I actually like the one above the best. That's the classics Bumble from the three pack with the movie, and animated Bumbles. the pure yellow of Henkei is boring. He's not Colorful enough. I think the graphic black stripes break it up. I like the silver seats and blacker black on the other parts. He's the classics Bumble in my collection.
