What's the farthest you've driven to hunt for new figures? I've driven 45 minutes to a Toys R Us looking for the Soundwave Exclusive.

Probably the farthest I've ever driven in search for any new Transformers was roughly an hour south of where I live... and this was back in 2007.

For the most part, I just stick to driving no further than half an hour drive from where I live when hunting for TFs.

Also, OP: You might want to change your avatar/sig before it gets yourself in trouble with the mods.

I think maybe about half an hour.
And to continue the trend: OP, your avatar is disgusting.

I'm in NC, so I've hit VA, TN, SC, and GA every now and then. I've also hit KY and IN when I'm going up to see family members.

Today was the farthest. Used to live in san diego county. Stores were everywhere. Not up here. I went an extra 11 miles this time and found the legends size megatron and prowl. : )

Last year I flew over 3,000 miles just to get a box set of toys and a few other items. It was a trip to Botcon, but that counts, right?

I don't think I'd travel very far for that exclusive purpose, I have a wife..a sympathetic one, but a very frank and practical one wife all the same. Plus, I'm lazy.

I just look for Transformers when I've gotta go into the city for other reasons (especially if I need to go to the said store), so I'm really only spending my time when I do so.

In response to the OP: about 20 or 30 miles, when I was hunting down HA Jazz. Worth every mile and then some.

60 minutes away. But I had to be there for work, so it wasn't necessarily To hunt for toys, but I did while I was there.

    1) I've driven 45 minutes in the rain when it was POURING over here (SoCal) last year up to South Gate (almost got run off the freeway there was so much water) - I was looking for the NEST Bumblebee/Soundwave 2-pack (Battlefield Bumblebee Vs. Infiltration Soundwave) when they were rare. What a stupid move that ended up being, almost dying or crashing my car for an eventual shelf-warmer.

I've driven over an hour to pick up a collection and have been to Botcon in California & Florida! I haven't done any real hunting since the gas prices have made me resort to online shopping for most of what I want/need.

There's days where I just feel like driving around, so the longest time distance was probably around 3-hours. Even if I don't find what I was looking for, I at least have fun.

Anyone know who the avatar pic is of? You know, so we can tell her how 'disgusting' her underboob is?

Took me a while to scroll down from the original post.

But anyway. An hour's drive to a specialist toy store in the next town, and an hour's drive back.

30-45 minutes drive for grimlock. that freakin' far for a montrealer! then an hour more or less to ottawa for TRU exclusive TRA dunno if that counts since my family decided to go further for a little trip with the new SUV i bought. lol i saw dinosaur bones for the first time that day. i love driving so does my family. little impromptu trips are always fun.
