Between G1 Star Saber and Star Saber Junior? I figure if its not too much I can just get a Starsaber Junior in place of a regular one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Arnt these two totally different toys? As I recall Saber Jr.s is almost like a Pretender-esq type figure.

I believe Star Saber Jr. is just a simplified version of the larger figure, but I'm not sure, really. I'm just hoping its not too different.

Robot Master is a smaller version. No clue on Jr. though.

Robot Masters I tend to prefer since he's moderately classics scaled. And if he's too pricey for you, they do make an accurate Knockoff available at the dollar store. >.>
Though the QC on the KO is just horrid so expect to have to do some manual clean up on parts so it doesn't fall apart after a few combines with victory leo.

there were several hm juniors released by takara back in the day, they are much smaller and are more simplistic. Sadly, they are very rare and cost as much if not more then some of there full size counterparts. The only "cheap" versions of star saber are scf and robot masters. If you want better then that just go for the original

Pretty much what he said. About 5+ years back, I tried to get a Headmaster Jr Fort Max, but I never found one that wasn't insanely expensive, even the giftset version with Convoy and Chromedome often went for about the same price as a MISB Grand Maximus. I ended up settling for a KO "mini-max" that actually had more features as a true undersized Max mold rather then the Jr and for a tiny fraction of the price.

As I recall, with Star Saber, he's really very simplified, and doesn't have the full brainmaster, only more of a headmaster system, and has no combination with Victory Leo (Which I don't think ever got made). And when I say simplified, I'm talking true KO simplified: no paint aps, half the transformation steps, loss of articulation, size, etc. He was one of the last Juniors (Again, as I recall), and he really showed it. It's like comparing Masterpiece Prime to WST Prime (And I'm not just talking scalewise).

I highly suggest that if you want a Star Saber in your collection, you go with the Robotmasters version, which did a far superior job preserving the qualities of the original toy and allows for Victory Saber.

yeah, the Jr version would cost more than a normal star saber.

get the robot master version. he is cheap and cool.

Who ever you were buying from is a huge ripoff, the jr 3 pack shouldnt be more than 80-100 a misb gmax is well over 2k. Try finding a Jr GMax...super expensive and hard to find.
