If I remember correctly, RiD Megatron, Galvatron, and Devil Gigatron were all the same mold. Gigatron was the only non 10-former mold.

The missiles are different I believe.

Rid Mega/Galvatron's are rounded at the end. (Safety first)

Gigatron/Devil Gigatrons are spiky. (Show Accurate)

Just answered this on TFANS a few months back.

Other than paint, instructions and box there are no changes. All versions are capable of the same transformtaions. The instructions just don't include some of the tformations...and to be honest some of them are just f'n lame. But yeah, all the same toy.

    Quoted from Tfans:

There are also a few other posts on there that state the same rough thing.

Yes, the missle/weapons were remolded for US safety reasons, but Megatron is actually purple Devil Gigatron, not Gigatron which, as noted, lacks the tabs required for elephant mode.

Aside from the missile differences, there are also extra gold highlights on Devil Gigatron on his legs. I've had both in the past and the painted detail really does improve the figure's appearance. The gradient green on the chest is also slightly different, though this could just be a spray-on kinda difference.
