Is there any difference?
Binaltechs are made from Diecast parts where Alternators are all plastic.
The only Binaltechs not made from diecast are the later kissplayer models
and you want to avoid Kissplayers unless you like weird hentai.
um yeah?!? hot rod is awesome its just the weird little anime girl with a padlock/chain around her neck that kind of freaks me out
So Binaltechs are....better?
Depends. If you want a display piece, I guess, but if you want to fiddle with them, go for Alternators. The die-cast in Binaltech is very prone to paint chipping. Plus Alts are about 1/2 the price
Also there are some in each series that the other didn't get. Like Binaltechs got yellow Tracks, Red Jazz, Blue Prowl, Red Alert etc, while Alternators got Swerve, Camshaft, Decepticharge, Rollbar, Ricochet etc.
Ah I see, thanks for the info guys.
In bot mode there is little noticable difference in the way they look. Many Binaltechs look better than alts in car mode because of the paint. I like Alts because they are not top heavy and pose easier than binaltechs.
