Are they considered the same line? Is the trypticon fireflight etc. figures considered part of the same line as the G1 Classics line? How big are the Classics legends? In the pictures they don't look very detailed. Are they the small mini con type of figures? Thanks.

The Classics as they are are about 6-10ish inches, depending on which one you have in hand. They're modern, more up-to-date takes on older characters.

Classics Legends, for what I understand it, is 1 inch tall mini figures based on Transformers:Cybertron designs, with new paint schemes to match older characters, like Trypticon(Scourge) and Leo Convoy(Leobreaker).

As for whether or not they're part of the Classics line, I'm not 100%, but they're definetly not as high class as the mini-cons that are with the Classics.

I think they are the same. It's just that they are a subline of classics just as Legends of cybertron was a subline in the cybertron line

That literally made me laugh out loud!!:D

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering. I've been a toy collector for many years and I've always just bought a little of this and a little of that. I've never had the funds to be a completist. So when this line came out I loved the figures and I'm going to try to focus on keeping up and just focus on completing this line. Maybe I can keep up this time. So, I was wondering what all I'll have to buy in order to keep the line complete. I'm tryin' LOL. I have been a bit confused here lately on what all has been released and what is going to be released and I've been asking a lot of questions here on the boards. I hope nobody is getting annoyed with me. I just want to keep on top of things and this seems like a good place to ask my questions.:inquisiti

Thank you!! Can I ask why they are referred to as voyager without sounding entirely stupid?

Classics are the best friggin TFs ever to come down the line. Classics legends are questionable repaints of already questionable figures.

hey, some of the locs are pretty sweet. the jetfire mold and starscream molds in particular... they're actually fairly poseable and nice transformations.

Ron, I proly would be cheesing if I wasn't in a sour mood right now :lol

Hoosier: don't worry about , there's no good answer to why they chose the term voyager.

With only 13 posts...yes you can.

'Voyager' is the name given to toys at the $20 price point (well, $20 here in the states). Deluxes are the $10 toys. Other classes, IIRC, are Scout ($7- the minicons and other small figures), Ultra ($25- like Cybertron Jetfire), Leader ($40- like Cybertron Optimus Prime) and Supreme ($50, like Primus). Hope that helps.

Blah. I still refer to the toys as Beast Wars-era sizes.

    Basic
    Deluxe
    Mega
    Ultra
Leader (since there really was only 1 BW toy at this price point)

Same here for the most part, although I refer to leader as "Super." And I still include Supreme for Unicron-sized guys

OK. So it more or less is just an explaination of the price point. Thanks for clearing that up.

Legends is basically just a size class, same as scout/basic, deluxe, etc. Except less places carry it. Don't think I've seen them anywhere except TRU and Boscov's.
