Seriously- starting about two weeks after the movie came out, it's like the stores haven't gotten ANYTHING. I'm in Pasadena, NONE of the stores have anything in stock. Either it sells as fast as it's shelved, or the stores aren't getting anything. The only thing I've seen the last few weeks was two Ultimate Bumblebees (which I'd already decided I wouldn't be getting).

Anyone know what the deal is?

Because it's popular. Stores are selling 2-3x the amount they projected, and I'm sure they'd sell more but they just can't keep it in stock. With what seems to be a supply trickling out of Hasbro to try and meet the demand, they can't ship everything to every store simultaneously.

The popularity of the movie finally established the TF series as cool mainstream thing to be into. This, plus scalpers who saw the potential to make money from it has led to very few toys for anyone.

Are you talking about the Target in Pasadena on Colorado Blvd? I dont think any Target is getting new shipments til October. Do a search on the News Board and find out.

I think it's finally starting to get better. There've been a lot of first sightings in the past couple weeks. The T.E.C.H. toys, Robot Replicas, and Cyber Slammers seem to be showing up the most so far, followed by Voyager OP & Megs, and finally the Deluxes. Hang in there.

If your Wii trickles, I think you have a prostate problem.

Hasbro wasn't even close to being prepared for this kind of demand. And who can blame them? I mean, look at all other movie toylines (Spiderman, Pirates, TMNT)..they are all shelf warmers.

Demand is outrageously higher than supply in this particular case.

Stores ARE restocking, its just that new stuff is moving out at the rate of a narcoleptic lemur.
