I was looking on ebay at the going rate for a rts perceptor and damn,he is going for like $25,wth?I just found one at ross too,seems like he is going for more then laser prime or wreck gar,any reason?

You need to check out the episode "Micro-Bots"... I think that's what it was called. Bonus... Megatron gets DRUNK! ...and by the way, no, I'm actually NOT kidding. At all. It's pretty hilarious.
I havent really checked out the prices on ebay, but my only guess is that a fair amount of people passed on him at the time since he wasn't the best (though I love him) "Classics" figure that came out, and with the quick ending to the RTS part of the line, now they are scrambling to get him. Guess maybe I should have picked up the one I saw at Grocery Outlet today for $7.99. It'll probably be there the next time I roll out there.
Isn't he with Bumblebee & Brawn when they're traveling inside Megatron's body? If I'm not mistaken, that's also the episode where the Decepticons get tipsy with Energon cubes...haha
i grabbed one off ebay two weeks ago for $16ish and shipping...so they are still decently priced if you are patient...
That's bananas! Just today I saw RTS Perceptor at Marshall's for $6.99. In past months he's been at Ross for only a buck more... On a side note, he is truly one of my favorite "Classics" figures... and I never thought much of the G1 toy/character that much growing up. It's just that his RTS toy is THAT good!
He was received well enough. He was part of the infamous "Reveal the Shield" spring promotion, which for whatever reason(s) just didn't show up in number at mass retail. Stores like Target and Walmart got SOME of the two waves of deluxes (but not everyone, I never saw them around here), but the wave of scouts, two legends waves, and two voyagers waves were completely MIA until ditched at outlet venues like Ross and TJ Maxx. People are still pricing him on the high side because he is still perceived as "rare" because he didn't flood Walmart like a majority of toy releases tend to.
Does somebody remember how the case breakdown for Fallback was? He is the only one I'm missing from that line.

Cool, his vehicle mode doesn't look to good, but his robot mode looks like a pretty good Perceptor interpretation.
I had to get both versions for parts swappage. I 'd sell you the other if I didn't already give it to my buddy.
