In Robot mode, it has this... thing that goes over part of it's face. I comes out of it's chest when you slide this tab up.

What's that supposed to be?

 

That's for tank mode, so that it has a head cover but it's pointless as it's still obviously a head any way you see it

Since I have the Japanese version, it speaks japanese, so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Oh, and the plate covers the head so he can play hide and seek when he counts to 20, instead of covering it with his hands.

What's wrong with Armada Megs voice chip? (I've only got ML Megs/Galvy) Now I am curious.

 

It was the only Transformer with such crappy electronics that I took the batteries out. Not even Leader Brawl's barrage of sounds could make me take it out, but Megatron sounds like an internet tough guy with a cat voice

 

It's supposed to be a battle mask/covering for his face in vehicle mode.

Yeah, he says "Decepticons, ATTACK!" in a shrill, G1-esque voice, instead of the David Kaye voice.

Well, he does have to split his legs quite a distance to transform...

The face mask can also be a battlemask if you just leave the eyes peeking out. Personally I don't think it's obvious it's a head since it has the pincer claws that grab mini-cons, making it look like a grabbing device. (?)

I thought it was a good idea at first (and due to a slip up, ended up with two) but over time found I just did not like the toy enough. Really needed some sort of leg articulation. So, both of mine have since been sold.

He actually looks better with out the "ears" IMO.

Still thinking I should have gotten the Happywell KO at Wal-Mart when I saw it marked down to $5. Among other things, it came with a plate to cover his robot mode head in tank mode, and it was a shield in robot mode.
