I keep hearing people buying First Edition Prime toys for $50 bucks a pop, and I'm wondering why. Is
there any notable difference between first edition and main toy line molds? Will they no be sold? I don't
    know what the whoop is

You really don't have a clue what is going on? I seriously find that hard to believe.

The first edition molds are quite a bit different. Just take a look at the bumblebee mold, and you will instantly see the difference. The first edition also are a bit bigger. Overall I wold say they are much better.

Basically it in a nutshell this is it: The First Edition molds for the most part are preferred by collectors over the regular Prime molds. Hasbro Cancelled the line in the US and very few figures hit store shelves. Now They are only available from Canada.

The takara first editions are decoed differently so for some thats a no go so by inlarge the only option is either get someone from Canada to buy them for them or Ebay or other online sources.

Regardless of how much better or worse FE is compared to the main line, none of them are worth $50+. Especially not the Deluxe figures. But if people are that desperate for 'em...

Tell that to people who drop 20k on watches & shit. In other words, I think we've gotta remember that when it comes down to the bare metal, something's worth is highly dependent on both the market & the person, regardless of whether or not that same worth can be applied to another person.

... you're right though, as we're pretty much all stupid as fuck to be paying high cheddar for this stuff, myself included when it comes to the Vehicon & friends I'm perusing. I've got most else for well under market value, so I guess it'll just even out the boat.

Also to MegaHavok, that's pretty much what everyone here does, so... hah.

TF Prime FE Deluxes were even often on sale when they first came in to Canada's TRU.

The RID are £10.97 in ASDA now instead of £12.99.

But he's right Hasbro toys are not worth $50.00
