It's been a while since I've read any Batman books, and I was wondering what's the best one right now. So, opinons?

I agree with Cataclzm1's choice, Dini as writer on Detective Comics is always a satisfying read.

Detective and batman are both good in my opinion, if you want a self contained story (or at most a 2 parter) pick up dini's book cause you'll get just that. If you want a more superhero adventure book then pick up Batman. I haven't read confidential but the art looked pretty from when I saw it.

Detective. If you like the cartoon, you'll love Detective. it's written by Dini and each issue is self-contained. You don't need 4 other issues to know what's going on. The stories do tie together slightly but they are great individual reads. The last story was 2 parts though. But nonetheless, jawdropping.

The Joker/Robin Christmas and Poison Ivy issues were my favorite though. Managed to get both signed at NY Con and talked to Dini a bit. Hell of a nice guy
