Got my paycheck right before I leave so I'm now officially on the hunt for a G1 Overlord  

When he's done maybe he can let my bro have some leftovers.

 

The stuff I want (Dinobots, Shockwave, etc) will be out of my price range I'm sure. I might try to grab some Alts, Cybertron Galvatron, etc but I'm not optomistic about getting a good deal. If I manage to get some G1 paperwork in good condition I'll consider it a bonus.

Actually, this isn't a bad time to get a G1 Hot Rod. There were enought re-issues the past few years to knock the price down... But I think it's been long enough that we're going to see that price start climbing again soon.

 

I'm just happy I've already nailed getting a Liokaiser at Botcon for a really good price; that's not only a Grail down, but it's going to free up a lot of my dealer room money.  

 

I'm hoping to pick up the classics release (brown packaging) of the aeralbot limbs. And if I have money left, maybe some of the constructicons. MOSC or a masterpiece Megs

 

Don't really have a serious list. Pretty minor actually, but I'd like to find Micron Tidalwave. Titanium Sunstorm (since he's nowhere to be found here). And I just now can cross off Cosmo-type Shadowhawk from my list. Energon Omega Sentinel or Energon Omega Supreme. That's really about it for me. Just there to hang.

I have 55 loose G1 transformers on my list, and 10 MISB ones. I have about 7 grand saved for the blowout. I need C9+ Raiden, deathsaurus, Liokaiser, Black Zarak, Victory saber, a ton of headmasters/targetmasters, Powermasters, Japanese Technobots giftset styrofoam, some monsterbots, a few primes. I think I will find everything but not in the shape I am looking for. Luckily I got about 20 items in the past 2 months on ebay to shorten my list. I have NO IDEA how I am going to carry everything around the show or how to get it back home.

I'm mostly looking for japanese boxed G1 Brawl, Swindle, and Vortex. (already have Blastoff, Onslaught's on the way) Also last year's Megatron, I'll be watching for any good Hot Rod stuff I don't have. KISS Prime. Can't think of much else, but I'm sure I'll find things.

I know man I am so excited to hit that sales floor its crazy. I plan on completing my loose G1 collection, and snaggin whatever else I see and like. I am secretly hoping that I dont see any MISB case fresh stuff, because I cannot restrain myself when I see them. I need to get the loose collection done, because I feel like that is what is going to spike after the movie. I must remain in control.

I was a mortgage broker, but am currently unemployed. But I have been kicking myself for quitting because I would've had a ton more money to spend if I had stayed for 2 more months. But screw that place, nothing was worth that misery.

 

Were you there last year, when the Hartmans were selling off their collection? They had some mad bargains in there.

 

No I didn't make it. I was supposed to go but had a family emergency. Besides last year I spent my Birthday money to get my car over 500 horsepower since I couldn't make the Con. This year I am all over it. But yeah Missing the Hartmans collection makes me sad, but I am a lot wealthier for it, lol.
