Hi boys & girls,Ive been collecting G1 & movie TF figures for a few years now & recently got back Astrotrain from grading. It graded 85 with subs 85-90-90,what would this figure be worth? I haven't seen many on ebay or other vintage toy sellers sites to get a rough idea.

    Over $600, under $1,200.

Depends on where you look, and the variant. There were three variants of Astrotrain, one with notches in the wing, one without, and one that has the glow in the dark poster in box. Shmax.com shows all three types. On the one with the wing notches, this is the most common variant, and AFA graded MISB he comes in at around $250 according again to Shmax.

A quick search on completed listings on ebay for MISB AFA Astrotrain turns up a sale for an AFA MISB Astrotrain and Blitzwing combo that sold for $995.

There are a few AFA collectors on here who could vouch for the best price, but I'd start out at the $225 range, and work your way from there.

Thanks guys,I guess like all these vintage figures it's worth what ever some one is willing to pay on that day & ebay tends to get a lot of emotional buying with an auction. Astrotrain & blitzwing owe me $1300 with grading costs. Maybe I've over extended on them I don't know...I'll probably sell these eventually to fund a couple more Autobot cars to finish of my G1 series 1 collection.

Only what other AFA collectors are willing to pay. For me it's worthless since AFA is a self-inflated sham of a system and I'd never even consider spending what it's "graded" at. At the most it's worth fair market value for a MISB toy plus maybe a few bucks for the acrylic case.

Had to wonder how long it would take.

Mazda, a nice 85 with those subs is probably in the $800-$1k range right now
