    Hi everybody,

I was clicking through ebay looking for something to do with some money burning a hole in my pocket, and my eye settled on the red version of Universe Powerglide. I saw a few prices, but realized that I wasn't sure what a good deal was, having never played with him.

I decided to post here to see if anyone from the boards had any opinions on how much they would pay for one knowing now what they knew before they bought it. And then I thought it might just be fun to throw around what you think certain guys are worth compared to the world at large.

For example, I feel like for the fun he provides and the aesthetics he contributes to any collection, an open Classics Starscream is worth 25-30 bucks if you don't have one. Likewise, as much as you might want him to pose with your Cyclonus and Hot Rod, paying more than 9 dollars for Classics Galvatron is a waste of money.

Anyway, feel free to roll your eyes, but do so after you give me a good price to look for my Powerglide at!

I'm more inner child than collector, so as long as he's red...

Interesting. I'd lean toward Walmart, then.

Excellent choice. The last time I checked the prices, they were still at $15 US. So that should be a snap.

As much as I don't want to link another site, especially this one, these were the only comparsion pics I could find. From left to right Takara, then Hasbro. Maybe it can help with the decision.

I'd say he's easily worth $20. $25 if you take out the batteries (damn hair trigger sound button).
