True. Trust me, were only going because of the gift card. The local joints are not that great here. For great Chinese, we have to drive at least 20 minutes.

Ahh hell yes. My favorite place, The Kitchen, has the Farmer's Breakfast for $6. It's an entire plate covered with biscuits, eggs, and gravy. Put some Buffalo Hunter hot sauce on it and you have a meal worth its weight in gold.

Pan fried Tilapia fillet, seasoned with salt, pepper, and cayenne, smothered in caramelized onions and a glazing of tartar sauce.

There's a musubi maker...its a mold where you put the rice in and a a little top pusher which makes it flat....

    Last Night
Had some American Style-Mongolian Grill...Chicken, mushrooms, onions, and lettuce with soy sauce and garlic water or something (Cafe downstairs dont have too much of a selection - night shift usually gets screwed)

Then has a protein shake later that night too.

Did some BBQ'ing yesterday. I smoked a small flat brisket with some applewood branches and mesquite woodchips. Used a simple home-made rub and kept the heat at 225 for about 3 - 4 hours. The middle was a little dry but I was still pretty pleased with how it came out on my first try. Also smoke some potatoes and a salmon, had some roasted corn and the wife made a caprese salad (with tomatoes and basil from our garden :)  ).

Curry for tea tonight. Not sure what sort as I forgot to label it when I put it in the freezer.

    Surprise dinner ftw!
