I just thought of something, aside from just being called the Transformers, what would the Transformers call themselves besides Transformers, Cybertronians, Autobots, & Decepticons; like what else would they call themselves?

 

Transmorphers?

 

nothing else.

 

Robots? Aliens? Giants? Shape-shifters? Cybertronian just means you're from Cybertron, Transformer is what, well, you know who they are...

 

transformers: race designation
cybertronian: reference to origin
autobots/decepticons: factions

 

Hardware.

 

Autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron.

 

gobots, hehe.

 

In the comics there's a number of "names" used such as the "rock 'em, sock 'em"s and hte tin cans.

I believe they would call themselves Cybertronians.

hey yeah. i always loved the idea in comics where they used the jpn names creatively as a homage. always nice to include reference from the other side of the fandom.

 

They call each other "guys" ... except for the girls.

 

were they those Primus-awful beast-to-"human" toys?
