I'm looking for something to play with my girlfriend on the xbox 360.

A good rpg is what we are really looking for. I can't find anything that we can both play on one xbox.

My girlfriend isn't in to war games, or shooters, so whats left?

Nothing really comes to mind. But they did add Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows to the Xbox Originals. Never played it but the description says it's an RPG with solo and 2-4 player Co-Op and Online play. Probably based off those Gauntlet arcade games from a few years back.

    Oh poop

I was hoping to hear better news. I can't find anything really. I have rented a couple games to check them out, but no two player co-op without two xboxes. We used to play Champions of Norrath for the ps2, and she wants something similar to that. I guess I have to wait for something like that to come out.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is the same type of game as Norrath. Kill dudes, get drops, level up, kill more dudes. Just, with comic characters.

Mass Effect, if you want more of the japanese ones, go with - Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, or Eternal Sonata. Oblivion is good too, but it'll suck all your free time away if you don't watch it.

I gotta agree with Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I played it with a friend and had a great time.

Yeah, we have Ultimate Alliance for the wii, so I don't want to get it for the 360 also. That is one of the games she liked playing. She played it with me all the way through.:D

I wonder why there are not so many co-op games for the 360?

Is it the same with the ps3?

    I a little dissapointed

It's pretty much the same on PS3 .... the game makers just aren't making very many Co-op rpg's they want us to be alone for the rest of our lives haha.

Are our options only limited to 2 player co-op RPGs?

While I won't comment on the quality of the game (or lacketherof) Untold Legends is a Two Player Action RPG on the PS3....It's not great, but a friend and a beer can fix that.

Oh and both systems have Rocket Men (or something like that) on Arcade. It's a 4 player Space RPG like Champions of Norrath. It's not the best game in the world, but it's also not expensive.

There's lots of two player coop games for the 360 on the horizon -just not a lot of coop RPGs. I can't think of any beyond Fable 2.
