I know a place that's selling them for $65. Are they rare enough to warrant a purchase for that price? How's the toy? Personally, it looks more Power Rangers than Transformers to me, but if it's a decent toy, I might consider purchasing it.

The vehicle and base modes are alright, but be prepared for a brick in robot mode.

If it's the reissue MISB for 65, and the shipping isn't a lot, I'd go for it personally. He is indeed a brick but it's still pretty cool, and he's frigging huge. Looks great on display shelves.

$65.00 price is average. Star Convoy is a beautiful display piece, plus it's a triple charger. Keep in mind it's still a brick. You can only move the arms in robot mode.

Don't forget, after you have Star Convoy you'll need Grandus & Sky Garry. Trying to find Grandus & Sky Garry (or their Brave versions) is part of the fun of having Star Convoy.

Yeah, forgot to mention he's the 2005 reissue. Brand new, and no shipping too; I found it at a local B&M store.

Meh, I'll consider it when I head over there today, but something tells me I'm going to walk out of there with an Encore Megatron instead, for five bucks cheaper than Star Convoy.

I understand your pain dude...before he was reissued, Star Convoy was one of the more sought after and er, moderately rare Japanese TFs.
