I've been at tad out of the loop concerning asian releases. After the cancellation of the DOTM toy line, a few remaining toys became asian exclusives such as Soundwave, Que and Leadfoot (and I did get both HA and deluxe Soundwave then) but there was also a handful of unrealeased toys like G1 Wheeljack, Soundblaster and some Ratchet and BB repaint. Movie trilogy I think they were called. Was there still plans on releasing them over there or did they go down the crapper?

Whatever happened to these exclusives also? I passed on both Canon Force Ironhide and Leader Ironhide hoping to get this G1 Leader instead but I haven't heard a thing about it since...

 

Those repaints look kind of bland. I think they were cancel under the presumption they wouldn't be able to sell non movie accurate repaints of $50 toys.

 

They changed their mind and released Voyagers in those Decos.

 

We haven't heard anything more about them or the DotM deluxe redecos (Soundblaster, G1ish Wheeljack with new head). Since these are supposed to be Asian market releases, I have no idea if they simply haven't hit yet or if no word on them means they are canceled. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'm sorry, yes, they are both asian exclusives hence the chineses/english packaging. They were announced at the same time as the plethora of generations exclusives. We've heard of those again just recently (some will even be released in the US from what I'm gathering) but still nothing about the movie Leaders.

 

I only really wanted G1 Wheeljack...

I can't stand Que and its current toy.  

 

Personally I'd rather have Que, that head sculpt just looks half-arsed. And at least Que's head is a unique new design compared to all the other Wheeljack and 'Wheeljack' esque heads we've gotten in the past ten years.

As a bonus, his blue is less generic looking than the white Wheeljack version.

haha sorry. To me that looks hideous but why not bust out some paints and make a custom for yourself? Nick Calloway has some nice heads at shapeways and I'm sure you could always get a generations fig and do a swap.

I want to know too, I was hoping to get that Starscream. I think we just havnt gotten any updates on them yet, Asian exclusives so I can understand why.

With the exception of the fact that he broke after two transformations, I absolutely love my Que. I think he's the best deluxe out of the DotM line.
