Going home to the Bay Area for about three weeks. Rented a cabin up in Tahoe for five days over Christmas to get some snowboarding and gambling done.

Catch up on some guitar playing and video game playing. My family doesn't celebrate, so I don't have to worry about Christmas shopping.

Doing what I do best: slacking off. :p  Thankfully I don't start college 'til Spring, so I've been basically off since June. Anywho, as for the holidays, the while family (on my mother's side) are planning a Christmas party at one of my uncles' houses like always. It's usually either before, on, or after Christmas Day.

The only shopping I have to do is get more Microsoft points because of new DLC coming out almost EVERY FREAKING DAY for Xbox Live.

I'm going to do everything Christmas Eve early......I have to work all Christmas Eve night and all of Christmas day. My department does whats called Santa round up and we all go in civilian clothes and unmarked cars (undercover) and try to get the top 50 outstanding warrants in the area.

We are cool about it. We knock and see if the person is there and politely ask them to come outside so as not to cause a scene in front of the family.....It's not something I'm really proud of doing but it's my job.

That's quite a brilliant move for serving warrants. Sucks to be the person the warrant's for but hey, if they didn't do stupid stuff they wouldn't have a knock on the door would they?

What I will be doing this Christmas Season is trying to figure out what kind of gifts to get for some members of my family. But I will be spending Christmas with my sister and her family in Northern Alabama, near Huntsville.

    :lol  That's awesome.

I'll be away for wedding anniversary just before Xmas and then I'll be visiting family (mainly in-laws) and getting bored on the actual day. My immediate family lives in the other hemisphere so I doubt we'll cross paths.

I don't really celebrate Christmas anymore, so I don't plan on doing anything. Except that I'll look into donating some gifts to the children shelter, but that's about it.
