After all, both the G1 cartoon and comic book were Marvel endeavors.

I'd think it was a complete waste of a cameo.

Just as long as he doesn't say anything, do anything, and isn't seen I'm fine with a Stan Lee cameo.

Why Stan Lee? He represents nothing to TFs.

Not really feeling the idea. It's not a Marvel movie, albeit Marvel used to have a connection with the franchise.

Cullen would be the only cameo worth having in my opinion, maybe sat having coffee with Frank Welker in the background of a shot. :)
Maybe if this was a movie more connected to what Marvel did with TF it might be vaguely worth it, but even then it's not like Stan Lee had anything to do with the TF comics.

I'm sure I speak for a lot of people on this site when I say I would much rather have an Aaron Archer cameo.

    No, thank you.

Besides the fact that he's only slightly connected to TFs by a company name, Stan's cameos have increasingly drawn too much gratuitous and unnecessary attention to him and distract from the movie itself. I liked it better when he was just a hot dog vendor for a few seconds, not coming on camera to deliver a whole freaking monologue.

How about cameos from voice actors from the original animated movie and shows?

Walker Edmiston - Inferno (voice) (scenes deleted)
    Susan Blu - Arcee (voice)
    Gregg Berger - Grimlock (voice)
Corey Burton - Spike / Brawn / Shockwave (voice)
Michael Bell - Prowl / Scrapper / Swoop / Junkion (voice)

    IMDB

That would be rather difficult for him since he died in February 2007.

Apart from a highly spurious 'Stan Lee presents...' at the beginning of some Marvel strips, Mr Lee has no real connection. I'd rather see Peter Cullen tbh.

Yeah he really didnt create TF so i dont think it would be appropriate for him to be a cameo now Frank Welker as a cameo that would be freaking awesome!
