I am considering pickup up one of the iterations of the classics optimus mold. I'm torn on which one to get. Aesthetically, I prefer shattered glass / magnus (yes, my taste in colors is biting me in the @$$ right about now), but I'd be fine with any of them. I wanted to know what you guys would / did pay for ____ iteration of the mold.

Paid retail for Classics Optimus when it was still at retail.
$90 for the Magnus/Skywarp set in Nov. '08 (Ebayed days after I joined this board).
$45 for Henkei Convoy, don't remember when exactly but it was a year and some ago.
However much the Nemesis Prime figure was going for when it was still on HTS, $20?
And I honestly can't remember how much the KO Crystal Convoy cost me. It was part of a box of KOs I ordered when KOToys was "going out of business."

That's what I paid for them. I paid chrisr291 $55 for his Henkei Convoy sometime late last year and just gave it away through my YouTube channel last December. I think my local shop still has them for around $60 or something.

I paid $25 for Classics Prime and $35 for Nemesis Prime at Botcon 09. I only have those versions of the mold.

I bought Classics Prime recently from a board member for about thirty bucks (it was part of a package deal, but I figured it at about $30).

I actually got a steal on Ultra Magnus because I got it in a trade for a figure that was pretty difficult to find at the time, but which I only paid about ten bucks for. He didn't have weapons, but I replaced them with the ones from the KO Magnus, which I think I paid about $20 for (then traded the KO away without the weapons).

I paid full retail for Black Optimus- about a hundred bucks. Not sure why, kind of kicking myself for it now.

I'd pay a maximum of $30 for Classics Prime, and probably $40 for the SDCC Nemesis Repaint.

Classic Optimus Prime: 8.99 Target clearance.
    Henkei Convoy: 59.99 + shipping.
Classic Ultramagnus 2 pack w/ Skywarp: 15.55 Target clearance.
Nemesis Prime SDCC: 29.99 + shipping.

I personally wouldn't pay more than 30 for Prime and for Magnus try to stay below 40-50 loose.

When I finally get them, classic prime and ultra magnus, I hope to pay no more than $40 a piece for either one, which I doubt will happen with magnus.

I paid $60 for Henkei Prime two years ago at TFCON. Don't know if that was worth it but the figure is nice.

Retail for Prime & Magnus, can't remember off the top of my head how much I paid for nemesis Prime. Probably $50, I think I remember being pretty pleased I got a decent deal off eBay. But then again I can' remember how much the thing actually sold for at SDCC so...yeah. Memories too hazy overall.

No more than $30 shipped for the US version, maybe $45 shipped for the Henkei.

I purchased most of my versions of the Prime mold when they were released and I got really good deals on them. But since that time has come and gone I think if you're patient I think you'll be able to find some good deals here on the boards. If you want to buy stuff now I'd use ebay as a gauge to determine the high end of the market and figure anything less than that you're doing okay.

In terms of the SG Prime, if you're okay with a KO, I think daelite20 still has some for sale or you can check some of the foreign vendors. While I'm not a huge fan of KOs of existing products it's hard to beat the $50 price tag versus market price of the Botcon one.

If you decide on getting a UM, you should get the official Hasbro one. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but most of the UM KOs happened early one before the KOLD versions came out and they are fairly crappy and inaccurate for the most part.
