So as you all know I'm working on a Headmaster dub.... And I really don't like the names of the Trainbots..... So I want to know what everyone thinks I should name them? (Blaze is the only one who gets to keep his name)
Here is a description of them!

Raiden (Name maybe changed to something better) -
The main function of the Trainbots is transport, but when an obstruction arises that prevents them from delivering their passengers, they won't hesitate to combine into the mighty Raiden to clear the tracks. And no obstacle is too big for Raiden's matchless ambition: he is, after all, the guy who maintains an active rivalry with Devastator, and plans on challenging Predaking next! Fittingly enough, his other great personality trait is his peerless punctuality. This is one Robot Train that always runs on time!

Shōki or Devil-Queller (Name maybe changed to something better) -
Shōki is the Trainbots' leader, and elder brother to Yukikaze. He's among the fastest of the team, especially when he's linked to Yukikaze in train mode. Unfortunately, he's also occasionally brash and irresponsible in his duties.

Getsuei or Moonshadow (Name maybe changed to something better) –
Getsuei is the Trainbots' "night fighter". When the lights get low, Getsuei really shines (ha ha), able to sneak up and take out opponents easily even under the worst visibility conditions. On the other hand, he's not so good in the daytime. In fact, he tends to get a little sluggish and daydreamy when the sun is out.

    Blaze (Kaen) –
He's the strongest of the Trainbots, and Kaen is extremely proud of this fact. He's got the punch, and he can really bring on the heat, literally. This sometimes puts him at odds with his cold-loving teammate Yukikaze, especially since they have to physically link together when they form Raiden.

Seizan or Blue Mountain (Name maybe changed to something better) –
Normally, one wouldn't expect a train on a mountain, but that's where you'll find Seizan. The more drastic and dangerous the slope, the more Seizan enjoys using it in battle to drop down on Decepticons, barreling along at full speed.

Suiken (Name maybe changed to something better) –
Despite his rail-riding alternate mode, Suiken is an extremely capable warrior on even the most rugged and uneven terrain. He's a veteran of a great many battles, which has given him an incredible depth of knowledge. He can plan battle tactics or even stellar navigation routes for the Trainbots' combined space-traveling train mode.

Yukikaze or Snowy Breeze (Name maybe changed to something better) –
Yukikaze is the younger brother of the Trainbot leader Shōki. Cold-weather operations is Yuki's gig, and in the snow, there's no stopping him. Naturally, he doesn't like heat at all. So much, in fact, that it severely hampers his ability to work with Kaen, who apparently puts out a lot of it.

I would keep the japanese names, personally. Sound a lot more natural to who/what they are than, "blaze" and the like.

If it aint broke, dont fix it.

Edit: Just a personal suggestion- Let them have japanese/american personalities, like they tried to do with animated jetstorm and jetfire.

    Raiden - Raiden

    Shōki or Devil-Queller - ??

    Getsuei or Moonshadow - Lowlight

Blaze (Kaen) – Blaze or Charbroil

Seizan or Blue Mountain - Alpine

    Suiken – Pathfinder

Yukikaze or Snowy Breeze - Blizzard

Yeah, I stole the names from GI Joe, but I think most of them fit the personalities. I just couldnt think of a good name for Shoki.

Now... you know that the characters specifically have Japanese names because in-fiction, they were BUILT in Japan, right? You're kind of dismissing that part of their characters if you change their names, and their love of their "homeland" is part of the plot in the only showcase episode they get.

I like the names of the Trainbots, I don't think they should be changed.

Don't change them, unless you name them after Thomas the Tank Engine characters :)

Separate characters, of course. But Sixtrain and Sixliner do have English names.

Raiden works well enough in English I feel, though I sort of see what you mean on the other guys. I suppose the US Trainbots series would be a good set of names if you need to change them, just swap Swindle for Blaze?

I'd say leave the names be.

Sixliner does? KB Toys released Sixtrain as Rail Racer, but there was no US release of Sixliner...

    Assuming that's what you mean.
