If Bay had not got his hands on the Transformers production (we can only wish...) and YOU got to call the shots, what would you change?

My changes would be:
1. Give the Transformers more G1 homage (e.g. not make Ratchet GREEN or Ironhide BLACK, give Starscream REAL LEGS, e.t.c...)
2. Better plot... period.
3. KILL OFF MUDFLAP AND SKIDS
4. Add Blurr, Drift, and Perceptor somewhere in the film.
5. Give Bumblebee a VOICE for GOODNESS-SAKE!!!
6. Give Megan Fox either more lines or cut her from the movie

not just single fights

3 vs 3!! like similar in TF1 Jazz,Ratchet,Ironhide vs Brawl
and for godsakes dont say "i cant tell who is who"

more epic transformations!!!

No humans killing robots. In any capicity, with any weapon.

 

Make the Transformers look more like their G1 counterparts.

G1 Wheelie meets the movie Twins.

 

Better writers, more femmes, more time with the TF's and their interaction with one another. No stupid, foul-mouthed, cheesy civilians.

 

Oh, and absolutely NO military involvement in any shape or form.

Plus, more robots. Ditch NEST, integrate a little GI Joe.

I would change the following things

1: Keep it its own universe dont reference G1,Beast Wars or any other franchise just keep it its own entity
2: Stop having the Decepticons make savage roaring sounds I have played WFC lately and never once do the Cons make roaring and snarling noises make them cool,calculated,evil not drooling savage
3: Have those humans kill cons with guns essentially their just robots robots get twatted by all forms of weaponary if that didnt happen then it would be a extremely one sided fight. (Think Terminator its essentially the same make up)
4: Dont give Bumblebee a voice its a battle wound and if he did have a voice as I commented in the Prime thread dont make him a wise cracking jackass make him have to find that voice..
5: Make Sams father more fleshed out involve him more move him away from comedy relief and make him pivitol to the story.After all he has seen the Transformers now him as comedy relief is getting a bit grating... Put him in the action..

robots more humanoid looking robots, less organic.
no "hurr durr"-jokes.
more dialoges of the robots.
more story.
less human interferences.
humans are helpless against Decepticons.

Well, I wouldn't give two big giant balls to Devastator.

 

Why are Humans helpless against Decepticons grrr rarrr Decepticons are a G1 reference in IDW a tank blew up Cliffjumper or severely damaged him they are not invincible... their Robots

Tighten up the stories & give the robots more screen time. That's about it, really.

I forgot to mention: They should have beam based weapons and not projectile weapons. And humans should be helpless against the robots, because the metal they are build off, should not be harmed by our weapons, only they can hurt themselves, as they have the weapons to do so.

That's what I want to see.
