    Damn dude, take a joke.

We're all collectors here, and that's what we feel we want to pay :D .

The truth is, most people don't really look favourable on AFA-graded stuff (or more accurately, the prices most sellers think they can command for them). There are a select few willing to shell out the dough for such merchandise, but good luck finding them.

Remember, on the secondary market, items are only worth what people are actually willing to pay. You can post it up at $2000 because "OMG, Mint! Vintage! AFA!", but I can guarantee it won't move fast.

Are you looking at what eBay sellers are charging, or what people have payed?

    How many are finished auctions?

The eBay crowd may be different, but the general concensus on the boards for AFA goods is usually "Wow, minty...*drool*...$10,000?!! LOL".

Naw. Pretty typical among most forums I've seen. If you ask a question be prepared to get some answers you don't like.

I'm only guessing, but was the original question what would collector's pay for an AFA graded Laserbeak? Honestly, I'd pay $5 at the absolute most. Seriously, AFA means absolutely nothing to me. I'd pay $10 for the same Laserbeak if it wasn't AFA graded. The extra five bucks would be worth not having to deal with that platic box.

It was an ultra rare AFA-graded MOSC G1 Laserbeak (or Buzzsaw, I always get them mixed up), IIRC.

Concerning the original item, for AFA graded, I'd pay absolutely nothing; AFA is just a huge scam.

For an AFA graded Laserbeak: 50 cents?

Myself: 2 bob and a stick of wrigglies should do the trick
