I'm inclined to think it'll be a War for Cyberton version of Starscream, based on the fact that Hasbro stated they'd like to make this figure if they got an open slot.

Any other thoughts?

 

I think it will just be another classics starscream release of the mold, and then skywarp will come out later.

 

I thinks its going to be the WFC version. For a few reason:

1. G1 Starscream has been done already.
2. Movie Starscream would be in the new DOTM line.
3. WFC 2 is coming out and Starscream is a fan favorite character so I see a lot of profit in Hasbro future if they can supply the demand for him.

 

I could see it being wfc or a rerelease of the classics figure. I've heard other people suggest it be armada starscream which would be cool. As long as it isn't another rerelease of the classics starscream I'll be happy.

 

Considering the Generations line seems willing to revisit other generations (e.g. G2 Prime), I'm kind of hoping this is a release of a different continuity's Starscream using today's engineering technology. I would pay for an improved Armada Starscream, wouldn't you?

 

Once Thundercracker comes out that will complete the main 6 Seekers correct? I think it is more likely a rerelease of that Starscream mold. By the time that figure comes out WFC will have been out for a year-ish and the mass appeal of such a figure is quite limited in the time between 1 and 2.


So I expect it to be a rerelease of the G1 Starscream mold that was released a while ago.

I would LOVE to be wrong though as I want that WFC Starscream so badly.

My guess is War for Cybertron Starscream.

We've had G1 Starscream twice so I'm not sure there is another color combination to still have it as Starscream.

Movie is unlikely because they already have a line to release movie related figures.

War for Cybertron seems like a good fit though because Hasbro could get a Skywarp and Thundercracker out of the mold.

 

I voted for WFC as that would be my wish but I think thats unlikely.

I am betting on WFC. Classics mold has been G1 twice now. If they were to use the classics mold for him again perhaps in G2 colors, but I don't think so. Bayverse would be used for the DOTM line. I would however love an updated Armada Screamer.

I hope it's the WFC version, then all I would need is a WFC Ratchet; WFC beyond that would be Icing.

I voted WFC since that's what I'd like it to be, but if I were wagering, I'd say it was a third release of the Classics/universe mold.

I love the G1 but they are too many versions, the same with the Movie version, too many and boring.

 

That's exactly what I want. But I just have a feeling it'll be WfC.

 

I'm hoping for something new like the ongoing Idw design or a shrunk down version of the mp mold

 

I'd love to see a version of the IDW design, but you know us Seeker-heads will be screaming for SW and TC as well.  

Actually, I'm quite satisfied with the upcoming TC release...but again, I'd love to see that IDW design.

 

I suppose I probably don't expect it to be Transtech Starscream.
