Me: yay sentinel is safe from the dreads!

Text: then sentinel betrays the autobots and kills ironhide, skids, and mudflap.

I was disappointed. Shockwave could've been the best in the movie if he was one of the main villians.

 

The niceness of this twist was soured by the fact that Shockwave became a virtual non-entity.

 

"It figures".

That was it.

I remember reading a post among the lines of "IS THAT SENTINEL SHOOTING IRONHIDE IN THE FACE?", and my jaw dropped. So needless to say I was surprised.

 

I read spoilers. I was more annoyed at being spoiled than surprised. If only I knew that when you preview a thread, the black stuff that cover spoilers doesn't show up and leaves spoilers exposed.

Didnt care, both of them ended up failing at being villains.

I found out when I saw a picture of Sentinel shooting Ironhide. i was all like"wait a minute"

 

Schmeh... not the first thing that was wrong about a TF movie. At least now maybe they can cobble together Galvatron from the scraps of Megatron, Shockwave and Sentinel.

I just can't get over how many Cybertronian Artifacts have found their way to Earth in the Bay-universe.

 

Well, my reactions went thusly:

1.) Wait, what about Megatron?
2.) Wait, now what'll become of Shockwave?
3.) Wait, wha-?!
4.) Holy crap! The legendary heroic Autobot mentor will become a "villain"? DEPTH!  
5.) Wait... attempted depth and complexity of characters in the movies... we're doomed.
6.) No! I must have faith!
*sees the movie*
7.) Amazing.  

Fixed for ya'.  

But I suppose that you're sort of right in the fact that they "failed" in the sense that they never got to see their master plan(s) come to fruition. But having your plan succeed doesn't automatically make you a good villain.
