Ok, tomorrow...I shall set most of the day apart to write this damn script. latest you will see this thing is Tuesday/Wednesday of next week. I hope you will view it objectively. I am POSITIVE and SURE that this script will be better than Bayformers and I'm not being paid for it. I am doing this because of my die-hard fanship of Transformers and as a fan, I believe I know what would make a good movie that would please fans FIRST and then the general public.

Ha, I can't wait to defend myself for the onslaught that shall commeth my way.

I don't want to see bad writing or crappy designs. Failing that, if one of those HAS to be crappy, could the other at least be gold to act as a counter?

As for other dont's. I don't want any more magical plot devices that are lame. Let's try to go back to what Season 1 and 2 of the the original series was (in terms of fighting for energy to repower Cybertron).

Conceptron, could you at least provide something of a detailed synopsis of what you have in mind since the script seems to be taking too long to write?

 

I don't want to hear any more stupid people babbling on about how much they hate Bay, the movie, or any combination of the above.

  You're going to write a feature screenplay (90-120 pages) in less than a week, and you expect it to be better than what we got from multiple professional writers who spent months on the project with Steven Spielberg looking over their shoulders?

Me thinks you doth overestimate your abilities. But I can't wait to be proven wrong.  

As for what I don't want in a sequel: Unicron, Primus, or too much time spent on Cybertron (all the awe of the bots on screen in the first one comes from them interacting with a real and familiar world).

Conceptron I would like you to time yourself for your script. If I recall, said you could write the script while taking a dump and it would still be higher quality then the one we recieved.

On the topic of the movie

Do not want more corny humor.

Do not want useless characters(Glenn, Maggie)

Do not want the Decepticons to be relegated to "OMG BADDIE" roles.

Do not want characters to be overhyped only to die a minute later(Bonecrusher?)

Do not want Prime to get his ass handed so badly next round. I get the entire humans are endangered but please let the guy get a good onscreen hit on Megs.

I know it will be the better script, but I believe guys will just hate it due to the rage I have produced on these here shores. But don't get me wrong, even before writing, I know the script it better. Haha, bloody All Spark....

I'd like nothing better than to be proven wrong, and be authentically impressed by what I read, but until then, all this posturing and "I could write a better script on the toilet" only increases the odds that people will see your name attached and automatically decide to hate it, much like some saw a certain explosion-loving director's name on a certain movie and automatically decided to hate it.

 

People write fan fiction all the time and it is looked at objectively. There is plenty of room in this fandom for a script to be looked at objectively. Look at all of the 'Movie designs' that people have tried to make that were claimed to be better than Bay's designs that were looked at objectively, many people even liked.

Put your doodie where your writing hand is and sit on that toilet and start writing.
