G1 Bumblebee at local Ben Franklin store. I got it before I ever seen the cartoon.

 

RiD Crosswise and WARS. Somehow, lost em both. Loved those guys

 

G1 Dirge- got it for christmas.

 

Mine was BW Megatron, who I no longer have. Back then, I loved dinosaurs, with Tyrannosaurus being my favorite, so on Easter of '96 (I believe- things start to get fuzzy when you get that specific  ), my parents got me BW Megatron.

 

I'm 95% sure that my first TF was Powermaster Prime. At the very least he's the only one that I still have from my childhood.

 

Beast Machines Thrust and Sonic Attack Jet. I got them at the same time.

 

it was either G1 Ultra Magnus or Kup. I don't remember, but I do however still have Kup with his gun. my only original G1 figure from when I was a kid  

 

Transformers Armada Supercon Optimus Prime.

He's pretty cool and still holds up even to this day.

 

Mighty Star Saber! Got it in 1992, my mom bought it for me while she was in Japan for work! Sadly, it's in a real sorry state now! Missing every accessory. Yellowed, only intact are the mid-sized plane/ robot and huge body... :

I want a replacement!  

 

my first transformer was g1 soundwave, sadly i stole it from a neighbor kid when he left it out front (though it was complete with everything). my first legitimate after that was ironhide.

 

G1 (red variation) Bumblebee was my first TF back in 1984, and he still sits in my collection proudly today.

 

BW Optimus vs megatron two pack, the bat and gator one. Man I wish I still had it.

 

G1 Skywarp was my first Transformer.

 

Classics Starscream, after that I was hooked and started to collect.

G1 Powerglide. He later got confiscated by the teacher. She held onto him & gave him back at the end of the year. Who wants to learn in class when I've got a robot plane with me?

Next, grandparents bought me G1 Hook. Soon got the rest of the Contructicons.

So Powerglide & Hook get a special place in my heart.

 

I don't think it was my first, but the first that I have evidence of still to this day is G2 Mixmaster. As a kid my mom made me donate toys at least two times so I shudder to think that I may have given away some good figures.

I have found some combiner parts of the G2 Devastator but not the actual figures  

 

It was either Beast wars Spittor or Drill bit... I still have part of Spittor but I just recently remembered having Drill bit (after getting a new one) as well... I'm not sure which one I got first now...
