I have a special attachment to G1 Needlenose. It was my first Transformer and it got stolen from me during lunch break at the school yard by a gang of 3 goons (aka 14 year olds)

Thanks to TFW2005 I was able to purchase a great condition one from one of the board members

Powermaster Optimus Prime. That third mode made him pure awesome at the time. And I still enjoy it nostalgically.

Then darkwing, G2 megatron, and the autobot millitary patrol.

Earliest ones I remember having were G1 warpath, seaspray, and brawn but no clue out of the three which was the first.

My first EVER was Go-Bot Leader1. But that is a mere Go-Bot and certainly much inferior to Transformers.

My first Transformer was G1 Optimus Prime. I got him for Christmas. We went to Target to buy him about three weeks before. While in the store, my dad opened the package to make sure everything was in there. I had asked him if he wanted me to transform him, to make sure he works. He said "no." That night, I COULD NOT sleep. So I snuck downstairs to the closet in which OP was. I opened him up, played with him for about an hour, and even put the decals on him. The next morning, my mom had him out to wrap. I thought for sure I was going to get busted, being the decals were on. They never found out. In fact, I told them that story about 5 years ago, and they laughed. They had no idea.

Haha! THIS! Windcharger was my first. Then came Cliffjumper and Brawn. Then the cartoon series officially began airing the following weekend. From that point on, birthdays and Christmases were never lacking in robot toy goodness and a life-long obsession was born.

G1 Optimus Prime. Birthday gift we picked up at a mall's toy store. Crystal clear memory of it to this day. Happy stuff. :)
