ROTF because we got Leader Prime and the HA toys, not to mention it was some of the best engineering seen in Transformers toys yet. HTFD was pretty neat as well.

For me, its a tie with 2007 toyline and Rotf toyline. Dotm's toys felt low quality in plastic, and most had low paint apps, plus the toys were smaller than the other lines.

    Anyway, ROTF and HFTD.

HFTD, they had the best quality I've seen in a Movieverse toyline.

    TFTM.

Had much more better toys than ROTF and DOTM. Though HFTD had given us Leader Starscream, Hailstorm, Terradive, Tomahawk, Breacher, Seaspray and a improved Fallen.

    I like all because:
The TF1 toyline showed an engineering advancement by being more realistic than before
ROTF brought us favorites such as ROTF LDR Optimus
HFDT brought us things like BB:BB an DLX Ironhide
DOTM because I personally like Sideswipe and because it introduced Cyberverse, I more detailed version of the Legends toys.

Yea, this thread exists already, but...

I'm an avid army builder of certain movie toys, so let me just break down what I felt about each toyline before issuing my final verdict.

1.)Movie 1 Toyline- I never really participated in collecting many movie toys other than the movie cast, but later I bought like 6 Dreadwings and 2 Overcasts this year. I also bought 3 Payloads; let me just say I love them and they are really menacing as a unit. I'm still hoping for repaints of the video game drones from this toyline. Viewing ROTF pissed me off so much when I saw they used protoforms as troops. I realized I dropped the ball on getting multiple Protoform Optimus Primes and Starscreams.

2.)ROTF Toyline- I really felt like this toyline was the pinnacle of toy-engineering for the movie toys. My favorites from the line included Rampage, Mixmaster, and Thrust. However, viewing ROTF made me realize I could have had an army of Rampages. That made me pissed.

3.)HFTD Toyline- There wasn't much potential for army building in my mind. Still, I got some pretty cool toys such as HFTD Optimus Prime and The Fallen.

4.)DOTM Toyline- When it came to DOTM, I was fairly disappointed as there was little potential for army building. I considered an army of Crankcases (still do) but as of now, that's not possible. Also, DOTM was my last surefire hope for protoform drones, but that doesn't seem to be happening. I loved the Orbital Assault Carrier for the Cyberverse line and it has since become my top priority for army building(the $15 cost kinda turns you off however.) A whole army of Mercedes Soundwaves seems feasible, however, as Movie stand-ins for Vehicon/Eradicons. I also kinda wished I hadn't killed my ROTF Ravage, as now it could've been a stand-in for the giant Havages in DOTM.

So all in all, I really admire the styles and engineering of all the Movie toylines, but I have to say, Movie 1 takes the cake for all the potential army building I *cries* could've done.
